I checked online at Toywiz.com.

Appears they have listed this figure at $134.99 and $166.99, respectively for the standard and deluxe.

We will see if they honor that going forward. Just preordered the deluxe this morning.

How hard would it be for a amateur customized to dye the jump suit to a blue grey hue? Would it be doable or would I just ruin it since the clothing is synthetic.

I'm trying to get an idea of what this figure is like from videos and pics of parted out ROTJ Fett, but I don't now how the best and chest armor come off. Is that **** glued together?

The belt/codpiece is glued at the sides so you do have to use force to break that and separate it. The chest armour is attached to a tunic fabric section that goes over the torso like a vest so can be removed (fairly) easily.

The tough part would be dying the fabric section that is attached to the chest armour plates, without altering those I guess.

While the flightsuit should be grayish blue, the vest (with the chest armor attached) should simply remain gray; no need to dye that part. Unless Hot Toys goes and overcorrects and winds up changing the color on the whole thing.

I think this is Hot Toys new strategy. Put a 1 year lead time on every new figure. If they are ready early, then the collectors are happy, they love Hot Toys and buy more figures.

Toywiz has them up for 133 and 166 USD. They most likely hit the 1 instead of 2 when setting the price. The error is totally on them, but they are under no obligation to honor it. Some companies will, some won't. Just have to wait and see if they will. It's very much a slim chance though.

Best of luck to all who ordered from them hope you get that price. Bought once from them before and never again. Not much but when those Meisho Bandai Star Wars figures came out preordered and no notifications of late release when figure was out for a couple months. Their customer service was rude and a nightmare to deal with. Also took forever for a refund. Maybe I just got a **** employee.

Wouldn't hold your breath, they still haven't even put up 1/4 Darth Vader or Kylo Ren for pre-order yet

I think the visor is the most glaring error on the new helmet. It looks too tall in the centre.
At least the ROTJ helmet was closer to that.
Here's a comparison to the (possibly never to be released) EFX helmet (cast directly from the original).

You're right, now it can be clearly seen where it is off. The top of the dome should have been less rounder and the lower part of the eye opening (horizontal border) should have been less curvy. And eyepiece should have been shorter. But on the contrary, though everyone says the HT helmet does not fan enough outwards, when it seems it's the one who fans out the most (Since its top is the smallest).
