So I've ended up Pre ordering this from Toywiz. I'm in the U.K so tried my luck with the deluxe version. With shipping it only came to £162.84 Which is a steal if they honour the price. It seems too good to be true, but as other people have said, it's worth a shot.

They wont. Also that website has terrible reviews.

It's strange because when I look at their customer reviews they are 90% positive?

Can trustpilot scores be trusted? I mean, there is no BBTS or Sideshow Collectibles to compare. On the other hand, a huge company like Spotify has 2 out of 5. Apple is 1 out of 5. Just Amazon is 4 out of 5 and it is amazing to my experience. I think anyone angry with those firms just gave them 1.

Can reviews on their own website be trusted? I've yet to see anyone on here give Toywiz praise.

I'll stick with some other retailers. No benefit of using Toywiz since that price wont be honoured.

Actually, I give more value to people's opinion in this forum than what Trustpilot states. From what I've seen, anybody who is frustrated with a company just went there and gave 1 point.
BTW, reviews on a company's (toywiz or another) website does not mean anything to me.

People do tend to leave negative reviews when they are unsatisfied though. Its not like they are likely to be review bombed as much as apple or any other big corporation thats intl the spotlight.

If anyone here can vouch for them then I'll keep them in mind but doesn't seem that way.

I think the visor is the most glaring error on the new helmet. It looks too tall in the centre.
At least the ROTJ helmet was closer to that.
Here's a comparison to the (possibly never to be released) EFX helmet (cast directly from the original).

Thanks for posting this. It was really bugging me knowing that visor didn't look right but not being able to place the exact differences. I still wish it was more accurate but now that I know exactly what's off I can just accept it and let it go.

How can it be possible that such a experienced company like Hot Toys can't see these faults? It's not like making an accurate headsculpt where any fault can be forgiven. This is just a helmet.

Just been refunded from Toywiz with this message. Oh well it was worth a try.

Dear Valued Customer,

You recently pre-ordered the Hot Toys Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Movie Masterpiece Boba Fett on our website. The price listed at that time was well below the retail value due to an internal error. Unfortunately, we are contractually obligated by strict pricing guidelines, and cannot sell this item for less than the manufacturer's designated price.

For this reason, we have no choice but to cancel the orders made during our pricing error. Your payment has been refunded in full.

We sincerely apologize for the mistake and the inconvenience. If you would like to re-order at the MSRP, the item has been re-listed for sale at the correct price.

We are very sorry this happened.

Thank you,
ToyWiz.com
