A few pics of mine on the old V1 base. It's actually been so long since I had fresh batteries in the thing, that I forgot the bottom part lit up too! So that was a nice surprise.

Thanks man. Yeeeeah....I do believe you're right. If it just wasn't so orangey/pink looking. Maybe if it was painted up in a brown/red color scheme it'd work; but I appreciate you saving me 40+ dollars with that.
You're welcome. I do think that the Animated Boba Fett is a cool figure on its own though and recommend it for anyone who's a Fett fanatic. I was on the fence but picked it up with one of the eBay 20% coupons several weeks back and don't regret it one bit. Now I'm just hoping Hot Toys puts out a White Prototype version.

Just got the 12-day notice from Sideshow. Being charged on August 7th.

I'm really tempted to get Jazz's carbon freeze chamber dio for this Fett. The lighting looks dead on to the movie.

Yeah, after I saw his video I was kinda blown always. Although I don't do detolfs, it's a really cool idea. There's something about that orange floor lighting that really makes your display pop; same as the white lit Death Star wall pannels.

I wonder if anybody's gonna stuff the cargo pockets to make it more film accurate. I know most people don't like them on the SS versions, but they are accurate. It sucks that HT didn't sculpt a new right gauntlet..they just painted little red and white dots lol.

Can anyone let me know how easy/difficult it is to remove the cape & left shoulder pad off of the figure? Seems like the shoulder pad pegs could break easily & the hole in the cape material could loosen up.

I'm imagining that the standard release is the same as the deluxe as far as being able to remove those two parts?

Removing the cape couldn't be easier. There's a single pin that attaches it to the shoulder armor. The shoulder pad is sewed/glued onto the vest as far as i can tell.

The left shoulder armor is removable on both the reg and deluxe (I have both). It is a royal pain in the *** to swap them out, and I actually broke one of them. I’m going to superglue the one I broke. I don’t understand why Hot Toys didn’t use Velcro for this.

So, how is the shoulder pad attached to the vest? Only got the regular version so i have no need to swap them out but am wondering. It is really secured tightly on mine and it doesn't look like there is a connector of any sort.

First picture is the best I’ve seen to date of this figure. Second picture did you modify the neck? Seems very long!

No mod done and not my intention. His head’s looking up and tilted to his right, also I shot it from a lower angle which probably helps making his neck appear the longest it possibly could.
