I can't see HT missing an opportunity to sell a Han Solo along with a Carbonite Block. It's big but not a complicated piece, much like the Emperor's Throne.

Keep an eye on the Emperor with throne price as that will likely indicate what the Carbonite block will go for.

It's gotta be a big ESB year this year. Leia, Fett, no doubt Han and Lando given the Solo film. With that combination a carbonite Block from HT could happen. Maybe towards the end of the year to give SS time to sell out theirs. SS's is $250 just by itself. I'm sure a Hot Toys offering would be cheaper paired with a figure.

Then on the other hand, HT & SS may have planned this together. SS pulls out their old Carbonite mould to make some more Carbonite blocks at low expense to them. Hot Toys does the figures....who knows ??

I realize some folks are perfectionists but come on here. There is the usual proto to production drop-off and then there is this. You have to stare pretty hard at a macro photo to notice the slightest difference. And even that could be down to lighting, slight angle difference, or different camera. If this disappoints you best be prepared to pay big bucks for the very best of custom painters or be an amazing painter yourself.

Yep I agree. This looks like a superb sculpt and paint job in the production shots. The skin texture is always Stella with the HT releases. It's only SS that seem to always "hoodwink" us with a decent looking Proto and then a below par production effort.

Their Darth Maul was a fantastic figure! Ok, it didn’t meet the prototype, but it was a terrific effort that I can’t see Hot Toys bettering tbh.

Come on this looks like a homerun. Sculpt is spot on and (unlikely ANH Leia) outfit looks gorgeous. Wonderful tribute to Carrie!

Agreed! It’s just a shame about the eyes though, they slightly messed up the eyes and it affects the likeness somewhat!

It’s also on the ANH Vader packaging and the ANH Leia packaging and the ANH Luke Stormtrooper packaging. And it will likely be on more packaging in the future.

Yeah. When I opened ANH Vader, I was like, “Whaaaaa...?”

That’s true, Sideshow did an unusually good job on that figure.

Fortunately it’s just a piece of cardboard that doesn’t matter much. They could put phantom menace crap on there for all I care, lol. Just keep delivering the great figures.

Hands look a bit plasticky/shiny - both HT Fetts also have pretty plasticky looking hands, but at least these look like nice sharp sculpts.

Not sure who would ever display this fig with the gas mask on - you'd risk doing something to the paint.

Hard to say without it in-hand, but the welder doesn't quite look 100% right - maybe it just got painted wrong.
