The UK group I pre-ordered this from says the figure is "now ready".

Not sure when he'll invoice and send them out.

Interestingly enough, when asked if he had any spare, he replied, "I think we only ordered 6 as very unpopular."

Not so unpopular now though. lol

If there are not many, so much the better for those of us who do have him. Our figures become more valuable by default.

I am not someone who resells, but I do enjoy the cachet of having a rare collectible in my possession.

I haven't sold anything in a long while, and then it was only figures from the early 2000s that I didn't consider to 'meet the grade' any more.

I've never sold any of my Hot Toys, even though there are some I don't particularly care for any more. Occasionally I think how they might be repurposed as new characters, but short of breaking them down completely they're really too obvious as to who they are. Gamora could transform into an Orion from Star Trek. I often look at the Rocket Raccoons and Yondu and think they could've been at home in the Mos Eisley cantina. Adult Groot looks like the kind of forest spirit who might pop up in a Hellboy story.

After pre-ordering the DWM, while on a Mandalorian high, I had regrets almost immediately because he essentially represents a period in Star Wars I don't care for. He'll slide seamlessly into the OT/Mandalorian era though.

Unlike some other loose ends in the collection, such as Sideshow's Darth Maul 2.0 and Hot Toys' Count Dooku!

The more reviews and shots of this figure that pop up, the more convinced I am that this figure is going to be like the Patrol Trooper from Solo for me. That was a figure I ordered and wondered why later until I got it. In hand, it is so impressive in design, detail and execution that it ended up in a good prominent place among the other troopers in the collection.

The Death Watch figure looks to be the same for me. Really looking forward to it now.

Such a solid figure. I really would love to have just one more variant to display together.

On the tail of KGH, TBA invoiced me as well. Didn't expect such a fast shipment as i chose a "Later Batch" option back then. Tends to confirm it is a slow seller in HK and likely a short run.

Wondering if it could have an influence on HT's decision to release Cobb, Koska and Axe.

I got an old crotch grabber and yes it works, thanks for the info on that.

Agreed. Great pic but he totally looks lonely. We definitely need one deluxe grunt with swapped one/two stripe armor pieces.

It’s funny how lazy repaints are Hot Toys dream kind of figures, but they’re dragging their feet with the ones for this guy:dunno

This would’ve been a nice release for HT to do a Deluxe version with swap out armor and an extra weapon or two. They probably didn’t expect much of a reaction to it though with it being a one episode character.
If the show explores that time period maybe we’ll see more of them and HT will do some variants.

Awesome pic and pose. Dang, now you are tempting me to get it...

By the way, how cool would it be for some 3rd party company to release a young Din and be able to pose him either reaching out to the Death Watch or being carried by him?...

Exactly, an extra shoulder pauldron, chest piece and thigh armour would cost them probably $5 more. It would enable so many people to purchase at least 2. Plus they would only need the one type of packaging.

We should really work for Hot Toys at this point !

I’ll call them up and tell them to get our corner offices ready.

With how well some guys are doing with the S2 Armor pieces, spear, and Darksaber for Din, this would seem like printing money for them to make customizable parts with plain/other ranks.
