Man, I was planning on getting that Falcon cockpit if they ever sold it, but that's much bigger than I thought it was. I figured it'd be around $700-$800, but yeah, it's really big.

Looking at my Jabba Throne. . . it might be feasible. If they keep it under $1,000, it's do-able, but over that is just not gonna happen. You might as well buy a Studio Scale model.

When you say the 66 Batmobile has slipped back.....all I can think of is Star Wars hehehehehehe.
Thankyou for the Kylo/stormtrooper pic, it is much appreciated.

You are welcome. I'll try and get you some more.

Yeah there's al kinds of reasons a product can slip. But it's usually specific to the product and not influenced by others. Like slow approvals, or design/production issues, factory breakdowns. So instead of just pushing everything back the take the offending item out of the lineup/schedule and look for places to slot it in later. That's what happened with the batmobile. You see a lot of people complain that iron man or Star Wars or whatnot is causing other property's to get pushed back and that's really not the case. Sure, if the factory had a huge open window and it came down to Star Wars or B movie bad guy number 2..Star Wars gets the nod. But that's not how it's currently working. Every figure has it's set production schedule and if it misses the window for whatever reasons (again, it's almost never becuase of another figure..in fact that's the whole point of the system..so no single figure disrupts others)..then that figure has to be pulled out until whatever held it up is fixed and addressed and then it has to be re-slated into the production schedule. Essentially meaning it's like starting all over schedule wise. It's why Returns batman and Drax and 66 batmobile have taken so long. It happens to iron men figures too. The stealth mk3 was originally shown in 2011. Blue steel was shown years ago. It happens. And then when they look to get it fit back in there could be a ton of reasons why it slips out for years, or forever. With the 66 stuff it's becuase there's this large merchandising event and awareness campaign scheduled for the anny next year, and with the slow sales on batman and robin they figured it had the best shot to sell by waiting.

Well, hope Dj's info is good. I'd really consider a TIE as it'd make an incredible display piece. No reason to go negative on him if you don't believe it, though.

Edit: Just checked out Motux's disassembly pics on the TIE. Wow, that thing is monstrous (like a-dev mentions, it's easy to deceive oneself until one sees the true scale). Guess I'll have to re-think ever being able to display that beauty. :monkey2 Unlike most here, though, I would still pick it up in 1:12.

Would anyone even be ok with The Tie Fighter being sold in pieces?
Left Wing- $250
Right Wing -$250
Cockpit/center body -$700

I'm annxious to see the price tag on the Falcon Cockpit. I may snag that. It will really help unclutter a detolf.

Why on earth would I want to buy one wing of a TIE fighter?

I'm posting all the photos from stgcc in a thread in the marvel section. To hard to keep bouncing back and forth and what not. Sorry if it's a big issue.

Yeah that's a great core group..minus the droids. I'm hoping for Jedi Luke myself. Black with the fake hand. I like that look best I think.

No not yet anyway. The mk3 stealth is the only "new" figure shown by hot toys so far. But the show did just start..so maybe. But I doubt it.
