It says 8.99. "wikia star wars with same specs". Its 8.99. No need to lie.

Besides, that site is old and outdated and is up for "his own personal enjoyment." Its not accurate.

You are wrong.

TIE/LN starfighter - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki

This the most accurate source of info for Star Wars.

You are wrong.

No.... a TIE Fighter is 8.99 meters. This is all wrong, its not 1/6th. Its pretty ignorant to say "if you can't afford it then dont complain" and you are the one stating "facts" that aren't true. TIE/LN starfighter - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki Go and see the lenght... 8.99.

Not 1/6th, does not even have the "price: tbd" sticker. Probably not even for sale and certainly not 1/6th.

To bad that is all wrong.

You should Tweet the guy and correct him. He does this for a living, you know.

Got my facts from galactic empire data bank and wikia star wars with same specs Also from wired.com. they did a story on tie fighter physics.

Plus i googled tie fighter height and width and it is in the first few hits. Not hard to do. A real man can admit when he is wrong. Stop acting like your an expert.

I found a height of 8.99 meters on Wookipedia, although I'll admit I don't know who is the authority on make believe ships :lol

But even at 9 meters that's 5ft tall in 1/6 and still w/in the realm of what that piece could be.

EFX tie is 1/24 if I remember right. So it's 13.75" wide. So it's 4 times bigger. That's 55" so 4'7". The height is harder to find since its mounted up a lil. But if we take the 8.99 m dimension at 1/24 thats 14.75" just a few inches lower than the listed 17.75". So 1/24 seems about right for EFX and that makes it just shy of 5' two and lil short of 5' wide.

Its literally from starwars.com, the most official, official information you could possibly officially get. 8.99 That is 100% true and accurate.

You are wrong.

Sorry, boys, but Howard's is bigger than yours. :lol

Starwars.com (official information) has it at 8.99 meters,

Once again. You are wrong.

TIE fighter | StarWars.com

You really need to chill dude. 1.49 meter difference in height is only 4.88 in feet more and only another 0.81 feet more at 1/6 scale. So your argument saying it can't be 1/6 still holds no water. Admit your wrong and move along.

Damn dude give it up. Who the hell cares? It's a big a$$ TIE Fighter. Go off and tell your friends how the internet wronged you. Let people just enjoy things with getting into the specifics. In the end it doesn't matter if it's 8.9993i89u4u2i4u2i4uiu3o.

You're clogging up the thread.

This.

I'm just loving the fact that some people are actually upset with HT doing 1/6 Star Wars vehicles. Celebrate for God's sake, even if it means eating crow for the rest of your life.

Just look at the damn delorean, Marty, and MF cockpit next to the tie in provided pics. The tie dwarfs them. No way in hell that's 1/12. If it is the bat must be 1/24 then.

Who said they would not make any 1/6? I never saw a single person say that. We said no way for Falcon, and no way for X wing.

Amazing. I give you information directly from starwars.com and you still think you are right. Im just saying... its not a true 1/6th.

Its made to fit 12 inch figures just like hasbro makes vehicles made to fit 3.75 inch, they look cool, but are not accurate.

That being said, Im done. It looks cool, I would buy it if I had room. Time will tell if it will be for sale... (my guess is no)

And the same people who complained they wanted a Chewbacca made and ht's does and they hate on him and say he's crap and needs alot of work. Some people I will never understand.

SNIKT seems to want to be right and somehow make others feel bad in the process... but since he was convinced there will be a 1/6 Falcon we'll just save up our crow meals for that day :lol

And I replied to you and said their was only 1.49 meter difference between your measurement and mine. I did the math again and it still is and can be made in 1/6. You act like I am off by 6 meters in height. I uploaded pics of Google search on height and width. It is the number one hits of each search. Serious dude, just chill. We are not far off. Your splitting hairs at this point. Just be happy hts is considering this and going against people who are at the con and says its 1/6. Either you think they are right or lying.
