And I replied to you and said their was only 1.49 meter difference between your measurement and mine. I did the math again and it still is and can be made in 1/6. You act like I am off by 6 meters in height. I uploaded pics of Google search on height and width. It is the number one hits of each search. Serious dude, just chill. We are not far off. Your splitting hairs at this point. Just be happy hts is considering this and going against people who are at the con and says its 1/6. Either you think they are right or lying.

1.49 meters off is close to five feet in difference. I don't call that splitting hairs.

You should Tweet the guy and correct him. He does this for a living, you know.

This ^

Seriously guys put it back in your pants and put away your rulers. :lol

1.49 times 3.28 = 4.89 feet divided 1/6 = 0.81 feet. So it adds an extra 8" in height with your measurement. So it is still 1/6 plausable. Try to keep up. Math appears not to grasp you well.

Yeah, seriously, who gives a **** if it's "true" 1:6. It's just incredible that they made it at all. Some people can't see the forest for the trees. *shakes head Yoda style*

Dude, trust me, you won't win with this guy. A few days ago the guy dedicated a good two hours to mocking me for expecting 1/6 Star Wars vehicles from HT. Now we're looking at a 1/6 Star Wars vehicle from HT and he's on a crusade to disprove the proven 1/6 TIE Fighter isn't 1/6.

Some people can't be reasoned with.

This is a full sized TIE Interceptor, the cockpit sphere looks slightly taller than the height of a man. Assuming the cockpit sphere is the same size for the TIE Fighter, a 1:6 figure should be slightly shorter than the cockpit sphere's height on HT's TIE model.
Hot Toys' TIE looks a little undersized to my eye.

Look in the mirror. Im still waiting for the 1/6 Falcon.

Oh, and I never mocked you for two hours. I, along with many others, explained to you how unreasonable a 1/6th Falcon would be, which you still can't understand.

Anyone think we'll actually see this produced or will it just be a display piece that will never see the light of day?

At 1.6 scale, you kinda are. Enjoy the hobby and stop acting like an expert and calling people liars who are there and say its 1/6. Grow up already.

You called me a liar as well and said I could not afford this.

You should grow up to.

Making a one off "1/6" is not that impressive, especially when people have made full size ones. If it actually makes it to production that's a different story, but seeing how they have made other one off 1/6 vehicles only to never make it doesn't bring high hopes.

It can't be bargained with.
It can't be reasoned with.
It feels no pity. No remorse. No fear.
And it absolutely will not stop... EVER... until you are DEAD!

Yeah, and when that 1/6 Falcon arrives your brilliant response will be "I'm still waiting for the 1/6 Star Destroyer". Hilarious.

Now go eat crow and let the rest of us enjoy this gorgeous 1/6 TIE Fighter from Hot Toys.

Well, gotta disagree. It at least shows some sort of intense interest in the license. They're not making money off it so they did it for love/personal interest of Howard Chan. SSC has had the license for a decade+ and never done anything like this. Personally this is not something that a few years down the road I'm going to use as a stick to beat HT with b/c it was never produced.
