Dammit I just realised that for the next 2 days I'm off...socialising :monkey4 - a housewarming and then a birthday. If my Tumbler arrives in the next 2 days I won't have much time for it. Typical..just to stretch the wait out a bit longer because a year wasn't enough. Or customs will hold it and it'll be a moot point anyway.

Has Parcelforce listed it as "awaiting custom charges" "released with custom charges" "Pending customs" "held (which they're awaiting payment from you)" or such?...

Usually if custom fees is applied to it, it'll be marked up right away when Parcelforce has it. It did with me with some of the figures anyway.

Well parcelforce finally managed to figure out that if a parcel is going from hong kong to the UK when it arrives in the UK it is a good idea to take the parcel off the plane, second time lucky, I have a well traveled tumbler :)

It arrived just as I was about to leave for a two week trip away, I gave it a check over and it looks perfect, no broken bits (other than a loose ariel on the middle right breaking flap) all the lights work and no glue issues.
Took a quick snap before I left so here it is, dwarfing my 60" TV!

Love how you have to comment about the 60" TV. Show off! Actually, I am so over TVs now, that my love is in computers, toys, and statues. I don't even care about gaming consoles, blu-rays. Any of that stuff anymore. hehe

Not even the new Batman game that is about to be released?????!!!!!

The tumbler really does make the TV look small, it's a bit too big to take in, I think it's almost better to just appreciate the photos than own it, after you have gotten over the "ohh" "ahh" stage it's still sitting there and it's hard to ignore, no wonder batman hid it in a cave, think he'll be getting a smaller car to replace it with, a focus maybe :lol

You kidding right? This is such an impressive piece, I cannot justify spending any money on paintings and other decors from now on :chew.
With a proper display this will be my prime collectors item that can reside in the living room just under my TV too. I could never just place Batman & Joker on their own in the living room.

They told me than the box is enormous!!! they couldnt store it in any wardrobe
:horror

I'm just glad I have a big Car. :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

:chew *sings* no customs on my Tumbler, no customs on my Tumbler, not sure how that happened, no customs on my Tumbler!

Mine arrived today. Won't have a chance to look at it for a few more hours though and when I do it'll be all too brief as I'm off to a party :banghead

Toys2 already opened it up to check it out so it should be fine in theory. Can't wait to see for myself.

I just picked up my Tumbler from Toys2 over the weekend, since I only live 10minutes away from them. What a gigantic piece!!! :horror
