Still... not... worth... 400-500... well.... ummm... maybe... no.... yes.... perhaps... dunno.... crap... *scratches ass* These new pictures have made it hard to decide whether it's still not worth it for the cabbage.

LOL, 400-500? :banghead i dont know either, i wonder how much is the batpod..... :sick

No you aren't! You're buying back everything you sold months ago. You're a great guy, but wise, ummmmm We'll need to get a rain cheque on that one. :D

Nener nener nener.

To the wise, I still think you rock Ed. ;)

*kicks Ed*

Why you gotta hurt my soul like that Eli?:monkey2 Actually I took the money I made selling my SS stuff off and invested in silver and gold. Got out at it's peak so I'm still spending other people's money.:banana:banana:banana

Damn might have to go back to pimpin' to pay all the Hot Toys' bills.

Wow.... forgive me if this question has been answered already but when is this bad boy going to be available? Is it out overseas already? I don't see it on ebay yet....

Since I'm SALARIED, it's either a SECOND JOB or NEW JOB (w/more pay) for me. :rotfl

For $400-500

That's a couple of PFs or a few pieces from the HT Iron-Man series. :(

Get an easy to come by second job at a ^^^^ hole establishment for a month. Squirrel the duckets away and it's all good. If I had to, I'd flip burgers to get one.

It's amazing but the price on this will be insane!!
Has anything been said about the price of the Tumbler yet?

Does anyone know how many Tumblers HT is producing? I hope this thing
doesn't release anytime soon, I have a feeling that this board is going to get
pretty empty because everyone will either be working overtime or hustling to get
this thing.

so does that mean from the box. only the original version batman figure will fit and not the batman tdk version with new suit.

Both have been discussed already.

Price is around $450-500, and the probable reason for the distinction of "Original Version" is spoilerish in nature.

This stuff is so unbelievably cool I can't even look at it ...

... only because there's no way I can afford it. It's not for grad students with no job living solely on student loans. The pain man, the pain ...

This is one of the most incredible 1:6 items I've seen - this stuff gets better and better all the time. You guys better post plenty of pics once you have one in hand so I can view them with bitter envy.

For all of those asking about the original suit Batman and the Tumbler here is your answer. Spoiler if you can't put two and two together from the trailer.

Joker blows the Batmobile up with the RPG (clearly visable in the trailer). This is the reason he uses the Batpod. He also need a new suit, as he tells Lucius in the TV spot, so therefore no TDK suit with the Tumbler. Again, not a spoiler as ALL of that is in the trailers and/or TV spots.

Okay, the price discussion was buried a bit back:

Eddiewong posted some new pics he took at the show.
Here is the link https://www.runboard.com/bmedicom.f14.t13335|offset=130

He also asked about the price and unfortunately the Batpod alone is going to retail more than the Power Loader. So guess what this means for the Tumbler....not very good news for our wallets.

BTW, I did the conversions based on the prices in Yen given on the aforementioned link.

Batpod: $297

Tumbler: $455
Officially out of my price range now. :monkey2

Wow, looks like I'll be passing on both vehicles, I thought there might be hope for the pod because of it's size, but it's so big and pricey, I know at some point I'll regret the purchase so best not to make it up front. It makes sense their prices if a figure isn't under $150, but still. Be interesting to see how many folks get the Tumbler at $500.
