I don't keep a figure in mine - though I may do so in the future if I can find a spare figure for a reasonable amount

I'd like to have Batman and a Katie Holmes Rachel Dawes in mine but if I do it at all it'll be some years away as its not the highest priority for me at the moment. Just thought I'd bring it up.

If they rerelease the Tumbler with upgrades I will be royally p!$$ed off. I could take a straight rerelease though.

Yeah tumbler with upgrades would rub salt into my $1000 wound :lol

Though I have to admit I would love to see it despite that, and would get it eventually anyway :lol

Finally!! Got my hands on a Batpod. Should be here in exactly 9 days :panic::yess::impatient:

It doesn't fit in a detolf.

It fits on top though :wave

Displaying the pod and tumbler is kinda tough. As it doesnt fit in a detolf, and to be appreciated fully, it should be displayed below eye level, IMO.

Yeah i'm outgrowing my 2 detolfs.

I have a custom design done for a totally custom display but it will take some time before I have the money to have it made unfortunately.

Agree that tumbler and batpod should be below eye level ideally. Need to do something along the lines of that converted coffee table some freaks did

Has anyone here shipped a Tumbler or Batpod overseas? If so did you declare the full value on the customs form?

I don't know about Ireland, but for the US, yeah. You're SUPPOSED to declare the full value, mainly so that the foreign country's customs can tax the recipient. However, in most countries the maximum shipping insurance available via USPS is only $500, so it is a little pointless to declare a value more than that.

How does one know what the maximum insurable amount will be? Any way of finding that out for any given country/part of the world? Today I found out I could only insure up to a pretty small amount after having already declared full value. If I had known in advance I'd have done my buyer the favour of declaring lower since I had nothing to gain from declaring the full amount.

An Post, Ireland, says 'inclusive insurance of up to 35euros' but I just assumed you could purchase insurance covering the entire amount that you declare - evidently not.

If I was shipping one I would declare full value to make sure insurance is covered 100%.
