And how expensive it would be :lol

At least it will be much cheaper than the ongoing price. And yes I really want them in 1/4th since I can afford the current price for 1/6th anymore lol.

I honestly expect all of the following
- re-release Batpod (nothing wrong with the original so don't see them making any tweaks to it)
- Camo tumbler
- Batwing/whatever it's called

A black tumbler re-issue is also possibly but at this point we don't know if it appears in the film

Nothing's wrong with current tumbler or batpod. But it's HT we're talking about. They don't neet flaw or whatever to re-release it. It's no more limited colletibles anymore :(

They better be careful what they call it, even on set and not necessarily in the film. I mean if they call it something really stupid Hot Toys will still run with it - just look at the 'Big Chap' Alien.

Yeah I bet that new Batman vehicle has a ____ty name. You can just tell. :lol

change it to a black tumbler with real ejecting batpod and we have a winner.

Doubt anyone could pull that off on a real 1:1 vehicle let alone Hot Toys on a 1/6 scale toy.

:exactly: They had to CGI it for the movie. Cant see Hot Toys managing it.

As for a re-release. I really hope for the three main vehicles of TDKR, that we know of. Was gonna buy the Tumbler when it was first releases, was watching it for a while, but it couldnt see when it was releasing, and had only just started collecting (with the OC batman). Such a big mistake. Wish i'd picked it up. So would love to get a black version, a camo version, the new Batwing thing and possibly a batpod. Would be a great display having Bane with the camo Tumbler and Batman with the Batpod or black Tumbler or the Batwing.

If they re-release the Tumbler hopefully it's sans electronic lights.

They had a 1/2 size Tumbler at NY Comic Con....It was at the Legendary Pictures booth along with a full-size Batman Begins costume!

Why do you want it without the lights?

So that the original retains it's collectibility. Re-releases are for low end, retail stuff, as are repaints. These are supposedly high end collectibles, so lets keep it that way. If Hot Toys is going to do that, they should at least give the owners that bought the original (some that ponied up quite a bit of cash) a bone by letting it have an exclusive feature not prominent on the re-release.

Oh - yes well on that principal they shouldn't rerelease at all unless it's a camo version

But we all know HT loves re-releases

These are going for upwards of 2k? :lol I'll stick with the Tyco for under $150 :D

True that, especially since they need compensate for "loss of money" on previous one :)

Explaining this to newbs is a lost cause. :lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly:
