... By comparison, we can tell that the Burton Batmobile is comprised almost entirely of one block of unpainted black plastic, with the only additional pieces being the cone at the front, the wheels, the cockpit, the tail and headlights, the exhaust and the dashboard (which itself is all one piece). The only pieces that look to need hand-painting are the exhaust and the dashboard.

There is an ideal separation line right in front of the canopy. The car could easily be shipped in two major pieces (front and back end) and snap/screw together, maybe with one or wire plugs.

YEAH!! Call me a ****** but I FINALLY got my hands on a 1/6 Bat-Pod!! I thought: Pay ALOT and be sure to get it, or wait and maybe be able to get it when the new one releases?..

So I bought one from a local store I've never heard about. Ended up at about 650 USD. But in a couple of days I will have it in my house ^^!!

I really hate ht re-release any of them, it just make the value down to the retail price.

I need a Tumbler, because I missed the first one. So for me, it'll be nice if they re-release the Batmobile...

Just make it a straight rerelease or as Difabio said, a rerelease with subtracted features, if anything.

No improvements or I'll kill someone.

Camo paint is cool but then they should have some extra panels and accessories so it can be one of the newer configurations.

Camo and extra panels etc to make it that other Tumbler wouldn't bother me - thats a different beast, not Batman's ride. I'm pretty sure I could pass on that no probs.

~$700 is nearly a months rent for me. Instant ramen for a few months should do the trick..

Though I hope HT includes some major bells and whistles at that price

I'm happy with my TDK tumbler and batpod.

With prices going up I would probably only be able to get one really expensive piece from TDKR in addition to the 1/6th figures and that is already reserved for the new vehicle (Bat chopper??)

I really am happy though that people who missed out on the first releases will get a chance to pick those vehicles up.

Well HT is a business, they see that after market prices are crazy right now, some are $3000 for the Tumbler! I would never pay that, EVER! So the demand is high, just like the Batman Begins figure, therefore I'd expect another release with a higher price tag do to improvements.

Most likely, it'll be the same thing with a camo paint job.

Come on guys, let's be honest here.. If you guys were in HT's position.

Judging from how much the original black tumblers go for on the after market and the fact that there's still plenty of demand for it, they'd be a full not to re release this.

From the pics i saw currently, it seems that the camo tumblers are used by Bane and his guys, I don't think it's gonna sell well if that were the case. Just like the drones in IM2. they look good, but doubt anyone would buy them, since they take too much space and are costly.

They're re-issuing Iron Man MK1, I'd say anything is on the table.

When they see one of their products selling for 100-150% markup on Ebay they know they undersold to the market.

They've already paid for the molds and tooling for production.

Throw in a bit of upgrade here and there and re-release. No brainer.

If I was in HT's position, I'd release a camo Tumbler with Fox and the means to modify the tumbler into TDK variants (clip-on pieces) to display with whoever uses them in TDKR. This way you cater to BB fans as well as not only provide the means to make it relevant for TDKR, but sell potentially multiple Tumblers.
