I was picturing Whitley. But the problem is the same as Daffy Duck's grand finale. I could only do it once. :lol

I was watching the Tumbler Spec Features on the BB 2 disc DVD and they said the Tumbler was 15 ft long.

It was actually conceived by Nolan, he made a playdough rough proto and he and the production Designer designed and developed it from Chris' Garage.

I should watch that. For some reason I thought that it really was based on some kind of existing military vehicle, and not built from scratch for the movie.

no, like pjam said, it was build from scratch.

however Nolan did mix up piecees 2 different scale models: hummer + lamborgini. Just as he thought the batmobile must be like, strong like a hummer and fast like a lambo, that was the idea...and worked out pretty well if you ask me :) (and if you ask the rest by looking at the pre orders of the tumbler :monkey5)

and all those doubts about the bat-pod, I just know that people who were doubtfull or negatieve about the pod, will change their mind once they will see it in action...
(because that just what happend with the tumbler, everybody hated it on pictures, but since the movie, 180° change of view on the tumbler)

Just like he batsuits, first it was the Batman begins suit, now its the TDK batsuit... WHen yoou see these props in contect with the movie thata is when you really know if something worth owning a collectible of or not...

i loved the batmobile the first time i saw pictures of it, and loved it 100x more after seeing it in action on film. i have no doubt i'll feel the same way about the batpod and the new suit.

I think it was the 24th or 25th. I placed my order on the 25th. Sold out now, BTW.

So, will Toys2 add more for pre order? They haven't added more Orig Suit Batmans OR Jokers. I think this may be it for them even though all dealers have until July 15 to confirm their orders. We'll see...

Good thing Joe has your backs Guys.

by the way, anyone got a very large picture-version of this

cause I wanna use it as desktop display :)

Looks like Toys2 added an additional 100 tumblers to their stock.

:horror How many is that they've sold? Be nice to know what the edition size is on these things. I wonder if they have one and stick to it, or if they go by the amount of pre-orders then go up to the next whatever number it is at the end of that run.

HT has told dealers to place their orders by July 15 so My guess is they'll make them based on demand until then, one run. Sort of an Inclusive run through 7/15.

July 15 is a stupid day. The 20th would have been better since it would allow most people to see the film by then and remake up their minds. Of course, if, say the Batpod, sucks on screen, there would be more cancellations. But I doubt that happening.

Well, I agree with you on the Pod, everyone knows about the Tumbler but when they see the Pod in action Orders will spike.

Maybe the Deadline for the Pod is later?

I've ummed and ahhed about the tumbler. It's just sooo big, and Hot Toys aren't very forward when it comes to details. Which makes me think there wont be any suspension either. I think I'll just umm and ahh till it's too late and the decision will be out of my hands altogether. Two more weeks till I feel relieved. :lol

Why did I have this feeling Toys2 would add another 100 once I placed my order? :D Well I say in 10 days Eric will have sold 200 of these then.
