Yes, it is misleading to us, but I reckon the language barrier helps the mislead.

Firstly, the title. 1:6 Hot Toys Dark Knight Bat-Pod Batpod Batman Bike Set.

This almost sounds like you get both, but language barrier distorts the fact that it is meant to be just the Bat pod, by including the word 'Batman' and the word 'set'. Set eludes to more than one piece. The auction is just for the Batman bike, which is called the Bat Pod.

Secondly, the description.

The Dark Knight™ Bat-Pod™ collectible Bike features:
* Authentically detailed in 1:6 scale model Bike
* Prefect scale to Hot Toys 1:6 scale Batman (The Dark Knight Version) collectible figure

This is particularly misleading, because it eludes to an actual 1/6th Batman collectible figure. It is another language barrier mistake. What the description is actually saying is that the bike is "in scale" to the figure. In other words, not only is it 1/6th, but it actually will accomodate the Dark Knight figure. If you have ever purchased 1/6th vehicles, many look smaller than, and sometimes larger that 1/6th, and when you put a 12 inch figure on/in it, it looks ridiculous.

This auction is only for the Bat Pod. Make no mistake.

That verbage is same on other descriptions. Though other places usually include: - Batman figure is not included. Which this auction does not.

It does say that the Batpod and figure are sold separately. I don't think he's being misleading. And if someone buys this expecting both, it's their fault for not reading the entire description.

I think it is just a language barrier mistake. I don't think the seller is trying to rip anyone off.

Yeah I doubt he is trying to rip anyone off. Although he advertises it as a "set" he states more than once that the Batpod and Batman figure are sold separately. Language barrier more than anything else.

about this seller...(I would pre-order the Pod from him somewhere within a week or 2) but he seems to be the only seller without an insurance option.
My quetion is: how important is that insurance option anyhow?
Ebay already garantuees that the dealers give you a sendback if something is destroyed during shipping, so why take an insurance, is it important?

Every new shot of the Batpod looks fantastic, and the ideas for photographs with it swirl in my head, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger, I hear that little voice in my head saying, great, but once you've taken your pictures and the coolness of it wears off, you're going to be left with it on your shelf wishing you had the money and space back. Why couldn't this be really cheap
