It'd be incredible if the next movie batmobile was a hybrid, a cross between the Tumbler and the other "true" movie batmobiles. It'd be an evolution of the Batcar.

= Awesome

Way I see it, for a Batman vehicle to be a Batmobile, it should reflect bats in its design. The Tumbler is cool looking and everything, but I wouldn't call it a Batmobile, it's just a tank painted black. Even the Batpod, it's called that in film, but there's nothing bat about it, it's just a pimped out motorcyle. Not to say these vehicles are bad, the Tumbler is and the Batpod looks to be very entertaining, I just don't think they should be labelled as the Bat___ anything without bat designs worked into them.

Fair Point, But i must say that the new batman movies reflect batman as a much darker entity and these new styles of armoured transport really add to the visual experience and feel of the movie, IMO i think that the new tumbler is the most definative bat wheels we have seen yet.. The other Bat mobiles were all very cool except for the one in Batman & Robin with George Clooney , that one was rather campy..,

Tonights Forcast A FREEZE IS COMING !!

Well I agree that the new vehicles are fitting for the world. Like I said, I like them, but to me, vehicles with the "Bat___" name should reflect designs with bat anatomy and such, and even the name "Bat___" can be campy, so if the idea is break away from campy and stay with real world, then Tumbler and names like that are more appropriate.

Your right there, I suppose it just depends on the style of each particular Batman movie:)

Hi everyone here!! Like G'c, I also can only do the English. Want to tell U guys something from Hottoys!! A couple of days ago, I bumped into Hottoys' Boss (Howard) as he was busy with his Batmobile n batpod display. He promised that the cowl (esp. mouth part) and the shoulder will definitely be modified as close as to the movie version. He admitted that the cowl was totaly wrong when it was sculpted by the Korean artist for the licensee approval. He was also awared of the noise from different chatrooms and foreign threads that the ppl were so much concern of those inaccuracy. After from his confirmation and certainty, I was end up paying him the deposit for ordering all three TDK's
Don't worry guys. Looks like we are gonna be all happy with the final version !!!!

Sweet................and thanks for the Cowl Up :lol

Really hoping that what he said is true and that Hot Toys does indeed look through message boards for feedback. At least his story wasn't "my dad's friend works at Hot Toys and Yulli told him personally that the cowl was going to be redone....blah blah blah :lol

He added another post just now "But he did mention abt the pants. They intended to get the figure that is able to spread the legs wide enough ( OOoo..it hurts...) to fit on the pod but ending up of losing the thickness of the pattern on the thigh...."

I really do hope Bats doesn't end up with MC Hammer pants just to fit on the pod. Saying that though, i worry about the long term durability of the pants in the inner thigh area when posed and re-posed on/off the pod?.....

In all I suppose that this is not a bad thing too suffice if it means that this figure is going to be ROCK STEADY and STEAD FAST:rock2

Did anyone really have any doubts about Hot Toys's committment to perfection?

I sure as hell didn't.

I said it before and i'll say it again, if the new TDK batman came with pink pants i'd still order it, Hot Toys is always on top of things! When have they ever not?

I can also guarantee the Joker's final look will blow you all away, i'm sure the proto does the Ledger Joker no justice.

Voorhees guarantee here folks!

It's very rare, but they've had their slips before on fairly simple things, like Jack Sparrow's coat, but you can never deny or challenge that they try damn hard everytime, even if they miss the mark a bit, they still try hard.

Although I might have agreed with you at one point, the more I think about it the more I think that that there are definite bat-like elements in the tumbler. The flaps at the back resemble wings, and the front of the vehicle is reminiscent of a bat's face, with the prominent front tires looking a lot like fangs. It's a very interpretation than the ultra-sleek batmobile from the Burton movies, to be sure.

Its all set up for movie 3...he moves back to the manor, his cave is nicely re-furbished and he takes delivery of the new car...

yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about the tumbler. its more fitting in a james cameron film like aliens than batman. besides, jumping from roof to roof is so joel schumacher. definitly one of the things I didn't like about batman begins. (the other was the blurry action sequence.) the batpod seems okay, but mounting the weapons on the front wheel is a stupid design, you'll never hit what you are aiming going at the speed its going.
