Is it a surprise that this is overpriced? It could have a working motor and still be overpriced and impractical. Anyway, I still want it.

I don't necessarily feel it's overpriced for what it is, I just don't see it a wise expent for what I'll get from it.
For every collectible, I see two values on it, what I think it ought to cost monetarily for what it is, and what it's worth to me to have it. I've spent well more than I think some items ought to cost monetarily because they mean a lot to me. Hell, I love HT's figure quality, but I don'd think Joker is $150 worth of figure, but he's worth a lot to me so I got it. Batpod seems worth what it is, but for what I'll get from it, it's not worth it in that regard.

I didn't mean to sound rude, but I understand your points. I will say though that if people want this, I wouldn't wait for it to go on sale...I just don't see it happening.
I highly doubt this will go on sale. I thought of getting it, taking my photos and boxing it back up for sale, but somehow I'm sure that would bit me in the ass so I'm not going to risk.

I'm not counting on it going on sale, but if it does that might help persuade me to get one. I just simply don't have the space to display it properly and it wouldn't be worth the money for me.

Instead of articulation I probably should have said small details that Hot Toys is known for (like the removable magazines on their guns). The only parts that move are the wheels, the steering handles, and the gun trigger. It would've been fun if they had made the cap to the gas tank removable. I really enjoy those kinds of details on HT products and they are missing on the Batpod.

That's how I would display it. I'm not getting it as I'm more into getting all the figures, but it does look cool. Congrats on getting it!

Yeah that's what I would suggest. If I had to chose between a character and this I would definitely go for the character. I'm anticipating Two-Face way more than the tumbler and I know for sure that I'll have more posing and shooting photos of Two-Face.

This's plastic or metal, If it’s plastic I think it very easy to broke.
No worries that part is metal. The bar protruding from the other piece is plastic though.
Really cool display straddling the pod.
