I don't think HT will make re-release of Leo with their current rubber body technology. Maybe if they succeed in developing their Bruce Lee advanced body. But as you can see HT keep delaying everything, so I'll say its a pretty slim chance of them ever made Leo again.
If anything, I don't regret getting him :yess:

If I paid 400+ for this figure, I would hope they don't re-release it either :) I would feel like a total sucker like the people that bought the Predator 1, Predator 2, Clubber Lang, Rocky, Rambo, Mark I, II, III, IV Iron Man, Wolverine, Batman Begins Batman, Dark Knight Batman, Dark Knight Joker regular, Dark Knight Joker DX, Sarah Connor, Bruce Lee, Jack Sparrow, and the T-800.

And as far as Hot Toys peeps saying they aren't coming out with a figure, this is the same company whose head honcho said we would be getting a Commissioner Gordon figure a few years ago.

A re-release is inevitable, just not around the corner.

Half the figures on your list are either speculative, variants or outright wrong :dunno

In any case, I can't see a King Leo as being inevitable unless Blade gets another go.

^ totally agree with LeJuan.
King Leo isn't as famous as Batman or any other marvel characters, its very unlikely for him to be re-released.

blade is much more likely to get another figure as he has two other movies they can make him from. Leo is not getting redone for a long time. If they did I would love it because we'd get a better GB head sculpt but I can only dream for now.

hey is Leo prone to the dreaded HT rubber body deterioration like some others i've read about? Dutch, Sarah, Sheva, Mars Attacks, ect. i don't think i've ever heard of Leo tearing...or has he?! o_O

Frankly, as someone relatively new to the hobby and wanting certain statues (such as RoboCop and Leonidas) that I don't own and are now out of production and unavailable and or "inferior" in quality than something produced today, I could care less if you feel like a sucker regarding superior re-releases. That mentality of exclusivity is selfish and rude. And I'm sure the manufacturer(s) feel likewise if they stand to make a profit.

Not as of yet, aside from the imbeciles who attempted this pose, with disastrous results

:lol

The rubber deterioration speculation is having me seriously think about offloading Leo while he's still in mint condition. Seems that Leo is an anomaly, while every rubber figure around him is cracking or melting.

He's a spartan, that's why! :lol

He's far too valuable to me, so I won't be selling him anytime soon, rubber issues or not.
