Ok so my Leo is here. Looks awesome but I have a really tight shoulder on the right side. After Raymond and some others I'm not sure I'm going to move it. I'm afraid if I do then I will have a lame right shoulder. Moves up and down and twists but it doesn't seem to want to swing back and forth. I'm going to email AlterEgo now and see what they say. If I have to Ill move it and possibly being sending back a broken shoulder joint.

Hey robbie, same thing happened to mine. The left shoulder moved forward much easier than the right. I thought I might break it, but what I did was move it carefully and progressively. Moving it back and forth to try and loosen it up to the point where I could try to move it forward to the first position. Then move it backward again... And so forth to try to slowly loosen it up.

Sweet, Ill try that. Maybe the rubber got into the joint and so its binding? AlterEgo said they are sold out and so is Sideshow so unless I want to go through Hot Toys to get a replacement there isn't much they can do. He did say that he would check with Sideshow and see if they had any ideas.

Thanks for the info.

No problem robbie. Hope you get it to loosen up. Let me know if you come up with more ideas that work.

I took some pics of mine with my weathered cape.

Ok I got mine today. He looks as awesome as everyone says. I am scared to move his joints though. I also think I have the bum right shoulder. I can move it to the side like he is raising his arm to his side but not forward or back. Gonna baby it for awhile and see if it loosens up.

Damn im not happy to see so many of us got the bad shoulders... please don't force it guys keep in mind i gave it the slightest of nudges and thats all it took to snap :(

Did Leonidas come with extra hand pegs? I snapped a damn peg. I don't remember seeing them.

I did notice on the right shoulder that the rubber isnt sliding over the joint like it does on the left. I wonder if the joint got glued shut when they added the rubber.

I brought my boxset back to the store yesterday, the store owner gave me a replacement from one of his sealed boxsets and said he'll just deal with HT HK himself. What a guy!

Now i got a "perfect" Leonidas. Both arms should be easily movable.
With the new body, i got to 3 clicks forwards-up and 2 clicks backwards-up on each arm, good enough for me.

I contacted hot toys about my broken shoulder and they appologized. They wanted me to email receipt. They also said they cover parts 30 days from purchase or a year from figures release. I bought this off a hong kong seller on eBay on march 19. Didn't get until April. Do you guys think this will be a problem. Also is buying from eBay gonna be a problem. It was new unsealed figure. I hope they don't give me ____

It was within the year of it's release, so you shouldn't see a problem.

Mine is being processed tomorrow, so I should have him in about a week or so. :)

My Leo is all fixed now. Thank you to everyone for the help. I haven't tried moving the shoulders too much, and now I won't for sure.

Now that he's all set up, I can truly say the figure is absolutely gorgeous. I'm so happy I got him.

My only piece of advice is to keep a close eye on your broken arrow bits. I can't tell you how much of have life has been spent searching for them across my counters and floor. :( Those suckers try to run!! And they're so tiny!!

Will I have a problem cause I got him on eBay?

It all depends. If the eBay seller you buy from is a retailer who gets the figure directly from HT, then I don't see a problem.

But if the eBay seller is someone who bought this figure from retail himself and then resold it on eBay, then HT have the right not to entertain any exchange or replacements since there is always the possibility that the figure could have been damaged by anyone along the way. :dunno

Hmmmm I wonder how they would know. All the receipt shows is the eBay id from the seller. I literally bought it the day it came out in hk

I picked mine up from CornerStoreComics on Monday. What an amazing figure, all the reviewers are correct. Easily one of the best ones.

I was not expecting the shield to be that big, after seeing how awesome it looks I kept thinking a Hot Toys Captain America :drool
