Ok last question on this, If I buy it and pose it like this will it eventually give up the ghost? This is pretty much how I'd like to have mine so if anyone can give a conclusive answer I'm sold...

EDIT- Also could it be treated in any way to maintain this pose without damage? Some kind of oil maybe?

I don't think anyone can give you diffentive answer. With rubber bodies you run a risk. To me that pose is not totally crazy. There is pressure on the shoulder and elbow, along with dents in the tops of the thighs from the leather jock strap. In a couple of years people may find that an un posed figure is falling apart. Never know. For me who knows if two years if ill even be into this crap. Besides I change my poses every few months anyway. If you love it, pull the trigger and cross your fingers. Maybe it last a long time. Who knows?

Does the rubber feel any different compared to HT's previous rubber bodies? I was hoping that they found a way to improve durability.

Thats a convincing argument alright :) My main concern at this point is do I actually want this or am I just buying it to buy something :) Damn addictions...

I'll have to check later as I'm at work now. On OSW they now have a mature section. I was browsing there before for purely ethical reasons:)monkey3:wink1:). One of the threads is to a link that had a female figure with a rubber body with no joints. At that site they had some kind of conditioner for the rubber bodies. I don't know if it works or not, just that I've been meaning to check into it.

His head looks like a cucumber in those pics. Does he really have such an elongated head in person???

No, Exoticlex ( :dunno ) didn't push the head all the way down onto the neck post. It goes down further and looks better.

Great figure, the rubber does indeed "feel" more durable. It feels thick and tough though I'm sure wear is unavoidable.

Once again, you have to be careful with the direction of the joints and some posing. You can get some good poses out of the figure, but you need to turn some joints a certain direction to ensure you don't damage them (ex. it is recommended you turn the upper thigh when his leg is down and straight, NOT when it is already bent up).

Awesome figure overall, the hints of Gerard Butler are here & there but you get the idea. It may lack some Butler but it definitely says Leonidas. A must-have for any '300' fan and a great addition if you collect Hot Toys or their Movie Masterpiece figures...He stands out on a shelf.

Got mine yesterday and I'm beyond impressed.
What suprised me the most was the weight, it actually feels much heavier than other HT figs of the same height. After having read some of the horror stories about posing, I just decided to pose mine in the standard, low resistence pose, hopefully he will have a long life this way.

Definitely recommend this fig if you're on the fence about him!

The body is just incredible! Got me thinking how to bash it into an MMA fighter. Can someone refresh my memory as to how he got the crucifix-shaped chest scar?

He has it all the way through it doesnt show how he gets it.

Decided to pass on this guy and go for wolverine instead...:dunno

I dunno really I was kinda having doubts about this guy all along...

Maybe I'll get him eventually. Depends what comes out really...
