I am liking this version of Hulk. I will probably pickup the standard release at some point since I missed out on the original Avengers one. I would like both head sculpts but I would never use the 2nd torso so I can't justify the extra hundred bucks.

I think this is the first time in history that the second release has been cheaper than the first.

This is a great shot. Probably how I'll put it on display. The second head might swap out with the original if it looks better in hand and the paints match. I've got a feeling any parted out lower bodies are going to be scooped up super quick.
Pretty slick that on the Hulk Smash version the only joints visible are on the ankles. Spandex shorts hide the knees and torso has (almost) seamless arms.

I was figuring the Deluxe version would be $400-$450 so the price is a pleasant surprise. I'll pick it up shortly. I still think the Hulkbuster is going to clock in at $800 or so, so if it comes in lower so much the better.

I don't understand. I was expecting the deluxe figure to run $499. Wasn't the Avengers Hulk figure $299?

They are reusing the hell out of that body. Nothing is new except the HS and the extra torso, no?

That's my guess anyway.

Perhaps it's cheaper because once we see the movie we'll realize the Hulkbuster is useless without this version of Hulk.

You're correct. But Hot Toys has never, ever, ever passed the savings of recycled bodies onto their customers. I'm baffled.

Yeah, that's a good point. Even though there's no way I'd ever get anything pivot this line, they could've priced this at $450-$470 easily.

Who knows what they think.

They still can't seem to get the Hair right.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the hair is REALLY crap looking..???!!!!

Don't personally care about Hulk's hair all that much but I'm not surprised in the least if HT messed it up. They can't seem to sculpt Arnold Schwarzenegger's hair to save their lives. I don't think it's a matter of sculpting ability - they just don't ''see''

Those prices are great. Wish they had priced Ultron like this.

Me too, but you have to consider that this is technically the third issue of this body that has existing molds, whereas Ultron has zero recycled parts, is likely comprised of many more intricate pieces, and has few if any opportunities to be reused. I am just glad Hot Toys did us a solid with this release. Allows me to keep a little more cash for Hulkbuster, and others who may have been on the fence to feel a little more confident to buy, which was likely their play here.

Price is excellent for this. I'll place my order Friday. Better price than expected. Rather pay the $374 for this than the Mark 43 and Ultron. The standard is a hell of a deal but I'm getting the Deluxe for the Hulk Smash Upper Body. Too cool.
