For all the HT stuff that comes out in both 1/6 and 1/4 scale, I am only getting BATMAN in both scale. everything else, I am staying 1/6th. Well,..... for the few exceptions i guess like RoboCop (if they plan on 1/4 scale) and a few certain predators.

The price for 1/4 :horror :thud:

Probably be able to purchase two or three 1/6 for one 1/4. :panic:

Se probably did do several heads and just 1 got chosen, doesn't mean the rest will be used. Kojun showed off how he did like 10 variations of Jack Sparrow for licensor approval and in te end we just got the 2 and likely the others will never see the mass market.

MaulFan, we can't assume anything here only speculate (myself included). :lol

I mean, just look at this announcement. I know, like you, I had SERIOUS doubts they'd ever make Batman Returns figures and yet, look where we are. There was this possibility, sure, but today? :thud:

These films lend themselves to figures. How could Hot Toys pass up on someone like the Joker when all they have to do is give him a few variant clothes and paint his face flesh? If this DX Joker is a hit and sells well I'd be more inclined to think there will be more. Who knows though.

I wish they make this guy too

man... he look more creepy than the penguin

Max Schrek!!!

:hi5:

Do not just think of the figures HT likes to make, think of the figures HT loves to NOT make: like Barbossa.

HT has planned very carefully which cool figures they will not make.

Isn't there already another Jack Sparrow on the way with that cool cannibal chair?

HT seems to be hitting 1:4 really hard with almost every announcement dovetailing into both scales. I'm interested to see how this affects Sideshow. If HT can replicate their hyperrealism in that big of a scale it's going to be difficult to pass up an HT release for an SSC piece.

Yes, Cannibal 2.0.

So there's a better chance of us getting a BD Keaton than there is of us getting Max Shreck.

Barbossa is more important than Max Shreck. I'm surprised they're not milking Barbossa actually. Not only is he a main villain, visually he makes a great figure.

I don't care about Pirates (I only saw the first film) but surely he's got to be in the works.

I'm hoping so much for a DX penguin! 2 headsculps - clean and "black-teeth-and-dkrty" one! Also 2 suits.. the mayor coat and the toxedo :)!!

The look I really preferred is the look in the original poster that never came true in the film; complete with cigarette holder, monocle and in a very monochromatic style. I thought it was very striking.

its a mistake... more labor and production costs, just confusing to collectors... i fear for quality control.'

This damn 12 inch collecting has gotten insanely out of hand for me. Hot Toys thinks im going to buy it at 1/4 scale too?? They could clone Christian Bale and make him a quarter scale and i still wouldn't give a crap.

Too big and too expensive. HT fail imo.
