I was 22 and loved every second of it.

Returns is the one I hated in 92, but now like. :lol

:rock

89 has aged the best by far. It still has the perfect tone overall. Returns is great for the individual characterization, but much weaker as a vision. Knowing now that Two Face was originally supposed to be in there instead of Max Shreck, Walken sticks out even more.

:lol I believe it was the first film where I thought Walken was a joke. He's never recovered.

Whaaat? ****in' loved Walken in Returns. Well I love him now. Can't really remember how I felt about his character at the time. I was 10, I might have found him uninteresting at most.

What can I say, I'm not a big Walken fan. He didn't ruin the movie or anything but he certainly didn't add anything to a character that was the cinematic equivalent to packing peanuts. At least for me.

I take it you've not seen "Seven Psychopaths?"

I haven't. You recommend it?

Absolutely. If you've seen In Bruges (and liked it), you'll probably like it, as it's from the same director, and it's a great dark comedy with Walken, Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Tom Waits. Walken did a great job with his role, as did the rest of the cast.

'Frankly', I feel that's a bum rap. He's a business man. Shrewd, OK. But that does not make him packing peanuts. :D

Oh it actually *has* aged quite well, IMO. I was just braced for it to be another Star Wars and it obviously fell far short. But I have great memories of the phenomenon and hype and really enjoy its take on the character today. It's not in my top 5 superhero movies or anything but it will always have a place on my blu-ray shelf.

Well - here's SOMETHING.

I spotted this in the HT MJ Smooth Criminal thread.
Cheers to SSF member Dragontron for the post:

It brings me great sadness to post this guys......

God D@MN the Estate!!!! Sigh....:thud::gah::angelsmil:rip

So.. we predicted it anyway really.

More waiting - & more waiting on top of that. :gah: :lol

2015 or 2016 ?! It's hard to believe

2015 Movies

- Avengers 2
- Star Wars VII
- Ant Man
- Fantastic Four
- Terminator Genesis
- Assassins Creed

2016

- Batman Vs Superman
- Captain America 3
- Amazing Spider Man 3
- Avatar 2
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- X-Men Apocalypse

Well, this gives me time to save for these figures...

... I just hope that by then my savings would be enough to cover HT's 2016 pricetag.

Batfan, I'll check it out then.

Alright, I'll upgrade him to cat food. :wacky

Damn. If it couldn't even break your top five... I guess we're lucky you have something nice to say. :lol

Maybe the licensing issue is that it has run out... I wonder how long they even hold it for?

Either way- Terrible job from Hot Toys on this. 2015 or 2016? For a line announced in in January 2012? That is ridiculous.

No wonder I have lost so much interest in this company.

Sallah

2015... so it will be 2017 then...

I don't want to know a DX figure price in 2017...

What?? License issues? Did they have the BR license or not? Nicholson didn't have any rights to merch from the sequel did he? It's not possible that he "rented" them the license for a little while and it expired, is it? Maybe he has to get paid again before more Burton Bat stuff gets made?
