I'll stick to my DVD's thank you very much. I don't see much difference between Bluray and DVD. However I can clearly see the price difference.

Returns is on TCM channel 317 on Sky in the UK tonight at 12:40am

i'm recording it, a nice trip down memory lane to see what figures i may like from the film.

:lol Was just about to say.

I have to say the thing I loved about Returns was the warm cosy fireplace scenes. Very snugly!

I was searching through Batman Returns stuff in anticipation for these figures and man, the marketing art was/is some of the best I've seen. I remember the graphic images all over the place in '92 and it looks like I found the artist's name, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez. This art was on everything from puzzles, games, to promotional items if I recall correctly. Wish I could find some hi-res stuff. It sure brings back memories.

I remember school pencil boxes and folders with those graphics on them. I feel like there was a lot more merchandise for kids with Returns than '89, I had TONS of stuff for Returns where '89 was basically figures and maybe a shirt or two.

Yep. I remember I had a Batman themed birthday party, probably in '92 and it had all those images and more. I definitely think there was more merchandise, at least it seemed like it. I know companies like Kenner capitalized on Batman '89 items the following years in 1990 and 1991 before Returns was announced. When it comes to Returns goes I had a ton of stuff, games (Sega, Tiger electronic), Kenner figures, school supplies, play doh, all kinds of cool items. This was the beginning of the kind of memorabilia that would start to roll out at the Warner Bros store (damn I miss that place).

I know Batman Returns and Batman the Animated Series were out simultaneously so as far as merchandise goes '92 and '93 was a great year for Batman. I wish I could find some actual prints of this art. I know there's more and that there were lithographs of some kind.

Yeah, it was a great time, and the toys kept getting better, improved Batcave playest with Returns, and Batmobile, I remember McDonald's happy meal toys for Returns and TAS, I actually have a couple figurines from the TAS happy meals, they were better than the Kenner ones I thought.

I remember having Atari Lynx, the Atari version of a Gameboy, and the game it came with was Batman Returns, loved playing it, though I wasn't very good.

My cousin had this one, I remember that's all I wanted to play when I went to my relatives in the summer.

You should get the official comic adaptation then, even though he inked it (pencils were done by Steve Erwin), the same style and feel of that promotional artwork comes through strong.
