You should get the official comic adaptation then, even though he inked it (pencils were done by Steve Erwin), the same style and feel of that promotional artwork comes through strong.

Don't even get me started on the comic adaptation. I own like 6 copies of both versions for Returns.

Those comic adaptations are the best, the first three are great for Batman, Batman Returns and Batman Forever. The Mask of Phantasm is great as well. Those were my sources for "deleted scenes" along with the novels before DVDs and the internet. Once they got to Batman and Robin though the quality in everything began to decline. The art and style is awful in that adaptation and the one for Begins isn't any better.

Still a little pissed that there wasn't one for the Dark Knight. I would have loved to have had one to have a complete film collection of them.

You could print those out on high quality paper and use them as banners for the 1/6 Hot Toys figures. Have an actual one would be cool though.

Sadly, other than figures, the marketing for Nolan's Batman movies is kinda crappy. Hardly any books, and what does come out is mainly design sketches, no comic adaptations, no trading cards. Can't get variety of products, but Hot Toys will make figures until you almost hate the movie.

I figure Batman will be a MMS DX while Catwoman and Penguin will be regular MMS figures, but who knows. Catwoman would certainly benefit from PERS, hell, Penguin could too.

Maybe all three? The announcement specifies DX so it's at least one of them.

Catwoman should be a 2 in 1 DX like Bespin Luke, clean and BD, 2 full figures, 2 bodies and all, especially where you probably won't be able to take off and swap her costume. Other than that, there's not much for her to come with for accessories. Though for cost savings, a very simple, low priced MMS would be nicer.

So far they've confirmed they're making 1/4 scale figures from,

- Batman Returns

- The Dark Knight Rises

- Predator

WTF! The price of a "not in complete mint condition"

Yeah, I looked them up before and it seems like they always sell for up around a grand. I don't think they were ever produced outside of the actual movie props.

You could print those out on high quality paper and use them as banners for the 1/6 Hot Toys figures. Have an actual one would be cool though.

MAN, I just thought of something. If he's a DX, the box insert could be his political campaign pin. That would be sweet. I still can't wait to see what Joker gets. A card? Inflatable balloons? Hopefully it's something cool and creative.

For this they'd need to sculpt the cowl and head seperately and have the cowl rest on the shoulders while the fully sculpted head slots in and pegs into the body through the cowl - that's how i'd see it as being best.
