Hot Toys Announce Batman Returns License

Given the lack of extra headsculpts with DX08 & 09 I wouldn't recommend anyone hold their breath over 2 Catwoman headsculpts... actually thinking about it (and baring in mind I haven't seen the film for a while) I'm wondering what accessories both Catwoman and Penguin will come with the justify them being DX figures......

Batman will almost certainly come with 2 headsculpts though

Penguin can come with tons of umbrellas, his coat and a penguin commando or two. Also the remote to the commandos, toxic waste in a canister, Max's shredded documents, and even Max's partner's arms. There's lots to choose from for that guy. Even a Mayoral button and a raw fish...

Catwoman should come with her whip, obviously, but her taser would be nice, too. Doesn't have too many other accessories, so that's why I'd vote for Bespin Luke treatment to give her the alternate head and battle damaged suit.

Penguins DX base should be that batmobile arcade ride he uses to drive the batmbile

Other than the Taser and Whip i don't see Catwoman being very ripe for accessories, maybe a cat?

Abit worried about the outcome for catwoman from hot toys, it seems their take on female characters up till now are not solid enough, i feel both this penguin & catwoman should be given the DX treatment as well, For catwoman, maybe interchangable head for office wear & BD catwoman outfit?

Catwoman : Alternate head and costume, whip, taser, miss Kitty, spray, a tousand hands with or without claws, the Penguin's ring, a glass of champaign and a chair.

Give her the Skywalker Treatment please!!!

Batman Returns - Yes hopefully, the Batman and Penguin figure will be announced this year around December

Looks like we have a date projection on this, I'm interested to see their Batman compared to the first and if they nailed the differences.

Must admit I'm disappointed Catwoman wasn't mentioned as well seeing as I'm much more eager to see her than Penguin but I'm sure we'll see her sooner or later

Tim Burton's Batman line is a sure seller so there's no doubt Catwoman will come as well. At last, I'll have figures from my favorite movie!!

Penguin will be announced this December which basically means December 2013 until this figure sits in my display case. I was hoping they would reveal the figure at SDCC so it would arrive "in hand" this time next year! Oh well atleast it is in the works.

On a side note saw Michelle Pfeiffer on Leno last night.......DAMN still hot!!

I hope Batman carries on the same “second release” patterns of Black Spiderman and Avengers Captain America and comes with a second head sculpt. For this reason alone I passed on the 89 version!!

I thought December would be the release date if I'm honest with the reveal coming at SDCC

Guess in a way it makes sense for Hot Toys to prioritise The Dark Knight Rises over Batman Returns though

exactly. I'm sure she'll be announced early 2013. I just hope she comes with an unmasked portrait as well.
