yup. And personally, I don't mind getting this late. That would give me more time to save up. Last year's pre-order season almost left me dry, and I didn't even get any Marvel Hot Toy.

The movie has been out for how long? Yeah, no real rush here. Iron Man 3 is the hot new property and Arkham is only a couple of years old. Once they push those through, things will slow down enough for them to get to these. Batman is like printing money for them. They'll return to it eventually. And I wouldn't be surprised to see the Schumacher films follow (though probably after they get through the Adam West figures).

It's kind of a shame that HT hasn't revealed these yet. I always assumed that there's be an end of the year reveal and they'd start shipping relatively soon after the Batmobile.

I guess it was strategic that they HC did not mention which year he was referring to...

I've been waiting for a proper Devito Penguin since 1992 when Kenner (great company, despite this **** up) gave us this,

Instead of anything that resembled this,

There was the Applause figure that was pretty good, but it wasn't in scale with any of the good stuff. As far as figures go, Batman Returns Penguin has yet to get his due.



For me, he's much better than Bane but then again, I'm sure to other collectors he's just as lame as Bane, maybe more so. Still, with his look, clothing, unique True Type build, accessories, weapons, etc. I think he'd make a kick *** figure that people would appreciate, even if they don't like the character. Certainly cooler than an *** masked thug on a generic true type with a couple of hands and a broken cowl.

Funny thing about that Kenner release of penguin, is that upon the initial release of the 89 line-up they also released this penguin with a different colour scheme. Which I am sure you're aware of. But it was very displeasing for me when growing-up I was never happy with any release of a penguin figure. I'm really looking forward to the whole BR line that HT releases. Penguin being my most sought after of the line. I agree with you DiFabio, he would make a kick-*** figure if executed properly. Especially if he was a DX release

That money is going to get dusty- bet HT has put this on the backburner- no real urgency..after all they have five Iron Man lines to crank out!

I have been into hot toys since 2010. Berserker being my first. Since then the ball has been moving with figure announcements and releases (T1- T800, Indiana Jones, Jack Sparrow, Jack's Joker, DX Luke, DX T-800.) Sure there has been delays and push backs but now it has come to a "Stand Still" for me. I was hoping that Returns images/preorder would have appeared so that I could look forward to something else. Tough looking into the horizon and seeing nothing.

There's a lot of competitors be it from licensed company like EB, Imaginative etc and unlicensed such as as iminime, for Nolan Batman, Avengers and Iron Man stuffs that they need to counteract and release similar products first.

If you all want them to release any updates or info on this one (or any other licenses), head up to facebook, make a new generic toy company name and page, make a proto of the figure. I'm sure that'll get their attention
