Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

I,ll never understand Why Konami gave the MGS license to Medicom instead of Hottoys.......:gah:
Hey,! wait a ninute!! I know the reason.... :They are Japanese too :thud:
If Hottoys gets the MGS license some day... I would put an altar where I pray them every day

About Ezio di Auditore: Well, the figure looks pretty cool, but do,nt like that hood... du,no but for me looks weird and inaccurate

MGS is definitely one of those "grail" licenses for HT. at least to me.

as for the hood, I think it's always gonna look a little off just because it will have to account for the hair sculpt but I think it will be easily futzable (quiet spell check futzable is too a word)

In the end I am extremely satisfied with what I'm seeing of this figure, can't wait to own it.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Speaking of grail licenses/figures... if HT ever made a 1/6 Ryu Hayabusa, I would take a break from collecting for a good while. But it'll never happen so I will continue to fill the void.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

The hood just looks funny in those pics because of bad posing, i'd put a good bet on that, keep in mind we haven't seen the HT official spec pics yet. Well we have seen one and his hood looks great in that.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

I think I figured out what the little pouch "looking" thing is. It's his hair with the ribbon on it. I guess it's for when his hood is down.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Bit of a wonky head and mouth sculpt imho, with little changes could be awesome. Looks great as is though.
The hood actually looks like a hoody, modern day jumper/hoody thing. Needs to be made out of less thick material and have that almost scarf thin quality so it flows and hangs/drapes

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

It's a great game Valfar mate, you'll have fun.

It seriously bends your head at the end and throughout sometimes, it's kind of like a matrix/Metal gear solid conspiracy theory type deal, I love stuff like that.
I acually played this before no.1 so I later bought no.1 to play through just for the story. I actually enjoyed it a lot, once you get past the repetition.

These are the same pics but you can see a bit more detail:

I love everything about this figure so far.

dam ! that looks amazing.
A must for me.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Please change the fabric on the Hood,it looks way too thick. That is not how it's supposed to look at all.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Would the hood be a separate piece to the rest of the costume? ..if it were and this is what we get,i could see people doing custom ones.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

I strongly doubt it.

Now that ive seen pics of the cape im not digging that one either,it's supposed to be leather, but with that type of fabric it looks rather cheap.

:lecture.........I'm still waiting for a proper Ryu to be made, its a real shame everyone else has failed so far.

This piece looks so awesome; its extremely rare when a piece is perfect in every aspect, but this one is as close as it gets. I have always said the 1/6 are just too picky about every product that gets released. You guys are right, the hood is prolly the most important aspect of this guy, but the first picture looks almost perfect to me in how it hides his face. I hope to see official pics soon.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Cool. I don't see specs though, just the photos. Wooks will probably have the specs soon enough.
