Got mine yesterday and put him together last night. Truly an epic figure. The details, paint apps, sculpt, lighted base and sheer size of the figure is amazing. :clap

It'll be a shame if Hot Toys doesn't release Neytiri. Having Neytiri and Jake displayed together would be the icing on the cake.

Got mine in the mail on Friday; but I've had some family issues that have prevented me from fully appreciating him and getting him kitted-out. But just from the 10 or so minutes I had him unboxed I was very impressed.

The body is not as shiny looking in person, and the level of detail on him is just staggering as is the size. I will agree he's probably an in or so shy of the right height, but since you rarely see humans and Na'vi together its really not a huge issue. Kind of like the ED-209, its a bit small but still so big and impressive your brain makes for the allowance.

I'll be sure to post up some pics tomorrow when I finally have time to get him put together for display.

Sorry to hear that Jo, love your pics though. If we don't get Neytiri then it's just a waste of a line.

Yeah, no Neytiri will be a let down.

Definitely, I'm going to be completely gutted if HT don't make Neytiri. I think she will sell better than Jake as well.
I keep picturing a HT AMP Suit, I could happily retire from this hobby with that in my collection

HT better make Neytiri, it is a must to go with Jake. Jake is so good, one of their best efforts. It'd be a shame if they stopped at just one figure.

I just got mine today, and while I will admit I sold Christopher Reeves Superman and another piece to pick this guy up...I have no regrets. It is absolutely the most detailed piece in my collection. I know he doesn't come with much, but I believe it is for THAT reason alone that each piece that is there stands out above all else. If you are on the fence and are a SciFi fanatic like myself you should look into getting this guy. Even if he ends up being the single release from '09 Avatar, he is a standout in any collection.

:exactly: Congrats on Jake, doesn't get much better than this.

I think the Classic Predator and some others were also revealed... although I think there are other shows in Asia at around the same time so I can't recall if some stuff was shown at, or around SDCC.

Noland is a headscratcher for sure... :lol

Uhhh some of us my be Predator fans feeling that Noland made an important contribution to the film Predators and therefore HT Noland is worthy of the $170.00 price tag....on Flexpay..with one payment to go. Not me but I know there are fans out there......:dunno

I actually really like the Noland figure and have it displayed with my preds!

He's from a movie and a series I really enjoy and Visually, I think the character looks great. Also did enjoy his cameo in Predators.

Well worth the cost of the figure for me.

That's the great thing about variety. Something for each of us.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for variety... but Noland is pretty left field and when he gets made as the 6th figure in a line but we only get one from Avatar its a headscratcher.

But, by all means nothing wrong with liking a little Fatburn :duff

I'll absolutely agree with that point. Getting Noland was an unexpected surprise for me.

Still you would think we would have at least gotten a Neytiri to go along with Jake! Especially now that they've actually come up with the big 18" body. Even a final battle Tsu'Tsey would be great.

Well there's nothing to say HT aren't making Neytiri so there's still hope. I think she'll get made eventually, hopefully we'll hear something on the next HT Q&A.

Hope So! It seems like Jake Sully is getting really positive feedback right now so I'm hoping HT is listening!
