Are iron mongers features worth $175 more? No i didn't think so, and what the hell does "its freaking iron monger" mean if people are priced out on this they're price out on that despite who the figure is of.

It's a question of value. People are saying this isn't worth it, so obviously Hulk isn't going to be worth $200 more :lecture

TBH Iron Monger is a fairly ho-hum design and really didn't do anything that exciting on film. Just a "bigger is better" villian that lasted less than a few minutes.

Now will it be an impressive 1/6 piece, sure, but it's no '89 Batmobile :lecture

If HT had included some clothes - like the gear Sully wore the first time he ventured out onto the planet. That would allow those (like me) who don't like the exposed joints to display him covered up a bit. That's just my opinion.

Would be cool to see someone make a custom set of that gear.

8 minutes of pure badassery :dunno

I summarized this point earlier. However I don't believe that this would worth the entire $1k

You're basically saying this isn't worth the high price tag but another of equal work with an even higher price tag is somehow worth it
You didn't read - you didn't understand. It's ok :1-1:

Well, I'm happy I'm not a big fan of Avatar.
The figure, while having some impressive details in the costume, just looks a bit meh to me... the overall lack of articulation on such a large figure and such a dynamic character are just a bit turn-off for me. They could gone with a rubber chest and crotch to allow for more articulation at the shoulders and hips. And I do believe they could've used double jointed knees and elbows. Again, at the size it should've been possible to engineer it better.
Oh well, as I said, I'm glad I'm not a big fan of Avatar.
Congrats to all who were waiting for this one to show up!

As far as paint application. It is far from bad, but I think it is a little too "clean" looking around the edges. And I would have also liked to see some airbrushed shading to help subdue all that blue a bit. Would have made him more organic and could have helped hide joints a little more.

I'd like to see someone take an airbrush to this figure. A nice faded custom paint job would really rock this figure up.

Looking at the new pics and looking more closely at OMG's pics, this figure's head sculpt doesn't really look like Jake Sully's Avatar.

I wouldn't base my opinion on OMG's photos. In my opinion SOME of his pictures distort/deform the shape of the figure.
