I have the 1st version so while I'm curious about the updates they could just cancel this figure and I wouldnt lose any sleep.

HT track record of improving prototypes has not been good lately. They def seem more lazy about their releases. I know covid has been a factor in delays, but i have very little faith that this figure will be changed/improved once it's revealed/released.

Agreed. I’d love to see a recent example where there was a delay we could attribute to a sculpt improvement.

Great, Loki with a bowling ball head. I forget I ordered. Sideshow sent me a final payment notice for December after multiple delays but at this point don't believe he'll be out until next year.

Agreed. I’d love to see a recent example where there was a delay we could attribute to a sculpt improvement.

Gamora is the only one I can think of at the moment.

And definitely not what I’d call “recent”. The delays these days are just delays, due mostly to manufacturing and capacity issues.

Between ordering this and now, I've also preordered Queen's Life size bust and their 1/4 scale statue too, and as such I'm thinking I don't need this one anymore.

I still have the one from Thor 2, so I guess that'll remain my sole 1/6 scale representation of Loki.

With the newer hot toys figs i haven't noticed any issues with pleather. I used to have a hot toys berserker predator though, the pleather disintegrated on the armor harness. Instant trash and pissed me off.

I had in in storage. Sealed in it's box for a long time. Decided to open him up one day and bam the harness just fell apart. Was my first hot toys predator.

The fit of the helmet (or the proportions) seem to be a lot better too. Surprised they actually changed anything, at least there’s some justification to the delays now.
