Some pics of the OG for comparison. I really can?t decide what sculpt is better but the helmet does look chunkier on the new one. But the tailoring on the new is a clear win. I?m strictly a one character collector but I think this is good enough for me to have both.

Yeah i'd just display the new helmet off and the v1 helmet on.

As far as the collar goes I think the new screen printed version looks better, but I'd like to see them get it closer to the outer edge.

Yeah that?s what I was thinking.

Tho gold detailing on the boots on the new version is brighter and better too, and the fabric is just leaner and less clunky. The OG has red beading in the arms, which I can?t see on the new. It?s really six of one and half a dozen of the other.

Regardless of whatever nitpicks one might come up with, this is an awesome opportunity to grab Loki in all his glory for half (or less!) than the Avengers version costs. I only recently picked one of those up, in pretty new condition at a great price, but after the preorder email from Sideshow today, immediately bit. It's going to be rad.

I own the original but will still be picking this up because it looks like they improved a lot of the costume details which were a bit off on the original.

The old HS is definitely the superior of the two though, so I will probably just pop the old HS on the new body - assuming the new helmet fits.

I don't really think $260 is a low price for this. It's a bit of an elaborate costume, but not exactly a deluxe figure or anything for that price.

Definitely not. But I caved and ordered him

I wish he came with a dead head so I can set him up with Thanos.

Another bonus is the Tesseract is you never picked up Red Skull.

Another bonus is the Tesseract is you never picked up Red Skull.

If you were posing dead head with Thanos, wouldn't you be better off with the Ragnarok figure, seeing as it is the same look from the opening scene of Infinity War?

Oh yeah, not cheap but I was expecting around $274 like Endgame Thor, even if this isn?t as complex a figure.
Hell, compared to the Beskar Mando with Child at the same price I guess $260 is a rip-off for this.

I POed the A1 one when it was announced but the distributor here cut 2/3 of orders down , and now that I can own one I am not that excited.
Overall, it's a nice piece. The face might just need Loki's smirk we all know and love.

Yeah, I have 2 Ragnarok so can mix and match. Ragnarok Loki has the tiniest of smiles. HT may be milking it big time, but *shrug* it's a chance to own an Avengers Loki. Plus, I had a coupon that was gonna expire - PO'd from Sideshow.

Tailoring looks better in Endgame version, but the color and material does not look better. The vibrancy and vainglory of the outfit is gone. Example, the gold trim on the bottom of the costume is printed on EG instead of material stitched like A1.

The expression is better on A1.

Here's a very rough comparison... sorry it seems to have resized smaller...

IMO they have gone cheaper on this Loki. Single layer material vs. double layer stitched down. Printed vs. stitched decoration. It cuts the bulk but also cheaper and easier to do. But some customizing/dry brushing metallic IMO could help. *Shrug* I might slap on some gold metallic wax here and there. He's PO'd anyway.

I can't completely blame HT, they probably hafta do something to keep labor costs manageable and prices go up anyway. Just hope the production sculpt comes out good and not one of those softened ones after the fact.

If I was concerned about my OG Loki not holding up I'd double dip and order this, but I just gave him a thorough inspection and he's in pristine condition - he could still pass for brand new. I may rethink it in the near future, but right now I'll hold off and put my $ toward (hopefully) some new/unique releases like Mantis, Valkyrie, Endgame Scarlet Witch, White Widow, Taskmaster, Yon-Rogg and a few more PS4 Spidey releases.
