Yeah I know not 100% accurate and he did not have all the stones in IW. In EG, he didnt even have the infinity gaunlet but it looks like it will be included with this figure. Would be awesome if they engineer the stones to be removable, but that's just wishing right. People would complain that it will easily get lost or wouldn't look accurate compared to sculpted, etc.

:dunnoIf you ignore the fact that he only had one stone at this point sure.

Not at all. I’ve mentioned that several times in this thread. However, he did wear the armor and the gauntlet simultaneously in IW; he didn’t wear the tank top and corduroys with the intact gauntlet simultaneously in EG.

Would anyone really want a gauntlet with only the power stone though, for sake of accuracy?

With the glue HT uses in a few years these will all have one or no stones anyway :lol

And when that happens, just switch this Armored Thanos to his regular hands. :lol

The versatility of this one is also one of many things that drew me to it.

Suddenly I have the urge to pre-order this guy and recreate his pose when he takes a seat at the end of Endgame.

The size of Thanos as a figure kind of puts me off, but the way he takes off his helmet, takes a seat and just takes it all in, is such a fantastic character moment. I think I may have to try and resist, but I hope the articulation is there for such a pose.

i dont think he will be able to sit. there is a plastic piece in the front that looks like will move a little, but not enough for the sitting pose.

Damn, wish that piece was cloth, like we have on Gladiator Thor etc...

I was just reminded of Thanos’ opening monologue, and how perfectly it bookends Endgame and his final scene:

“I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly.”

I suppose it'll be glued on, so you could take it off and try to find a fabric that matches and dye it the same color...just a thought.

On the GOTG version, it comes off. There is a pre-bent skirt that allows him to be in a seated pose.

How much is this figure again? Because Pepper Potts is $407... I think this might be the last good deal from HT.

Right? Shocked this isn’t $500 based on Potts’ price. Comparing this and that price wise, no comparison. I’ll take this all day. This might end up being my favorite Hot Toys ever once out

This, for $8 more, is a steal.

Pepper: $407
Thanos: $415

You choose.

Have to have all my armors........in blue/silver and gold :lol

Peppers is two years away so i'm not really thinking about her price tag. A regular figure might be over $300 in 2021

i dont understand why pepper is so overpriced .....

Like jye4ever mentioned possibly likeness rights, die cast, most probably last ever Potts figure. They have higher costs and probably know they can get away with a higher margin on this one.

I'm definitely out. Armoured Thanos is way more worth the money.
