I assume that's the Mark VII, with the oval RT.

I was under the assumption that Iron Man starts the movie with the Mark 7 which looks a lot like the Mark 6 (triangle chest piece), similar to the way the Mark 4 looks like the mark 3.
Then he has the Mark 8 (circular chest piece and silver parts)

It isn't the Mark 8, the new suit is Mark 7.

I think that Tony Stark starts the movie with the previous, and same armor, that he weared in Iron Man 2, then he changed to a new armor (round reactor) that's the 7

Yea, that is definatly the Mk 6 he is wearing. Odds are he switches sometime before the final battle.

I just checked out the Hasbro toys and the box for the new round reactor armour states it to be the Mark VII.

My bad.

Pretty torn on the look of the Mark VII. Not sure I like the silver accents which are looking to become standard in the newer Marks.

Looks like the silver accents are here to stay. Mark IV really is undeniably the sleekest looking so far.

If I love Avengers, I'm in. If not, I'll wait for something from IM3.

Mark VII looks ultra boss!! I hope to see even more weapons coming from that thing on film. Just a buncha missiles and lasers and stuff. Maybe a force-field or something. Can't wait to see what's in store.

I personally don't like the Mark VII at all, it's far too bulky looking (I'm sure that will appeal to some though given it looks significantly different to say the Mark III and IV)

At the moment I still reckon I'll be in for the revised Mark VI and that'll be it

If the MKVII had the triangular arc, I may have liked it more. Just doesn't look different enough from MKIV & VI to warrant purchase when HT get to it. It almost looks like a retrograde design that should've followed MKIII... I'm waiting for Iron Man III to see what his suit(s) looks like

Really like the Mark VII. Didn't pick up Mark IV (went with VI instead) so definitely intend on picking up VII
