They wouldnt make Hulk on the same body as Cap or Thor but if they a different body for every "human" character the figures would cost at least twice as much...

I disagree, and how do you come up with the figure twice as much? $400 to add an ankle adjustment for height or just by using a few more bodies...Yeah because they aren't making anything off these $200 pieces made in China are they? Good grief don't be so gullible.

So you want the figures to have the same bodies with the same arms and torso length but you want some to have legs up to am inch longer? Yeah that makes a ton of sense...

The figures would increase in price if each one had a perfectly scale body because of the r&d and engineering behind each of the new bodies

Its not like these figures are being produced like $10 hasbro figures.

Try using logic before making an argument.

Yeah it would be great if every single detail was 100% perfectly accurate and accounted for but its just not financially feasible for them or the buyers

I think Superman has a totally custom body just made for that figure. Granted he's also very light on the costuming and accessories… but does also come with a fairly complex base. ::shrug:: Hot Toys definitely aren't scared to do new bodies when they need to.

I am using logic, $10 Hasbro figures are more accurately scaled most of the time. Read again what I said, just a few extra bodies that would fill gaps or some modification to the ankles is all it would take. Good, Im glad you are 100% happy with your figures.

Hot toys could very easily make a modular body as SSC has done. Hasbro can make $10 bodies because cost is dispersed through a massive production run. How many figures has HT made? How many figures have had the exact same body? What is their cost per figure? We know that in the last few years they have sold more than they ever have before therefore the cost per unit has most certainly gone down yet the price has jumped considerably. We don't know their expenses or profit per figure but if SSC can do it, HT can do it but it. The prometheus requires the same amount of molds and and their figures are still less than HT. As for it not being financially feasible, apparently there are a large number of collectors that have no problem going along with any price increase HT comes up with. There have been statements made on this board hoping the Hulk is only about $300-$400. And it will be plastic. I personally don't subscribe to the idea that I should shut up and be happy that I can choose to hand over a lot of my favorite dollars to own a Hot Toys high quality figure. If I'm going to spend that much I want a figure as close to perfect as possible, that means proper scale too. Obviously that doesn't matter to some but one thing is for sure, those that don't push for better will never get it.

I didnt say I am 100% happy. Hot Toys already makes bodies when they NEED to. When they dont NEED to they reuse bodies and adjust like adding longer ankle pegs (Captain America) or make different torsos while reusing arms (T800, Whiplash, Ross). If that means the figure will be a more reasonable price and only an eighth of an inch off in height, I can accept that.

I have my doubts that the Mark VII is the only Mark we'll see in this film. Tony might not be wearing whatever other suit is there but to think that there might be a re-release of a Mark VI and then just a Mark VII doesn't feel right in terms of HT.

With iron man 3 just around the corner they might have gone easy on the"new" iron man stuff for this film so it didn't leave im3 in the dust

Thank you I agree 100% If people stop complaining or making suggestions the quality will go down in any product. If the head sculpts were poorly done more people would complain about that, but fan boy jumps in and says that if we want better face sculpts it will cost twice as much...someone who already has no problem paying $200 x XX=LOTS ANYWAYS. Nothing wrong with making some suggestions about making things better and if you don't want to see it don't read the posts.

I think a new mark VI is almost a certainty, complete with a whole new Tony Stark head sculpt as well :yess:

Im very interested in how HT will make the new Mk VII boosters :D
It would be very nice if they include fire effects similar to the Mk I

Much like War Machine's since they're very similar? In fact the Mark 7 in general is fairly similar to War Machine ;).

Agreed, dedguy.

I get a definite Variable Response Battlesuit vibe from this grab.

I wonder how many shoulder/chest/gaunlet/etc. deployable goodies Stark is gonna pack in this model?

If Hot Toys replicates all the gimmicks in sixth scale, then this will be the most fully loaded Mark to date . . .

A sort of Bugatti Veyron of the skies . . . :yess:

Wow, I love how we've now got the possibility to get a remarkable 1/6 Hulk in all his glory.. yet it's still Iron Man up the wazoo as far as discussion. :lol

I said it before and still believe it that with each announcement of Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye the possibility of all the Avengers getting made increases drastically. I'd say the chances are pretty good given just the announcement of Fury. If they do Hawkeye it's all but a lock.

…but that's just me trying to logic it out. Hot Toys may decide that they don't really want to do a certain Avenger for some reason. I think despite what a lot of people say, Hot Toys more often than not makes what they want to, not what will make them the most money.

Yeah, I'm a geek for Shellhead . . .so sue me. :nana:

Or better yet, why not actually contribute to the discussion?
Why not talk up your beloved Jade Jaws?

Oh yeah . . . that would require some effort. :slap
