I dont mean to offend you. It's still greedy to have two of all of them. I just need one. Why would you need two if you never plan on selling them?

I think you got me comfused with someone else my friend but I don't flip things I buy , I wanted to get the ancient asia since I only have one boxed and I normally get at least 1 boxed and 1 loose

As a matter of fact, he will prove it to you by selling his extra Scar, Celtic, and Chopper Hot Toys predators to me for $1,200.

You must be filthy rich to think that way. What do you mean you like how they look in the box? It would make much more sense to display the box of the one you opened. Unless you are really smart and plan on flipping them later.

I mean, I know what Raf is saying, I buy two of every NECA figure. Well the cheaper ones that is. I love how they look in the package, all new an ____. If I had the means I would have two of every Predator. And because you need one, does that mean that Raf can't make himself happy by buying more of something that you have none of? Given that interest rates are crap now, he's just holding on HT AVPs rather than dollars...it just so happens that later on when he is short for money to buy whatever, he can sell it for the fair going rate, just like you would expect your dollar to fetch its going rate during an exchange...

I think theres a fine line between someone who has excess cash and buying extras of something he obviously likes (the more the better), and someone who buys something a boardie offers low only to turn around and sell it instantly...I dunno, its a fine line and its hard to judge...but either way, I've gotten two preds from Raf and they were good prices.

The fact that Raf buys like 20,000 of every HT Predator pisses me off sometimes, but he's not doing anything wrong. I mean, if I had that kind of money I would do the same.. For several reasons.
You'd always have an extra if something happens to your main, customs, you could display them in different poses, and if you are in trouble and need a ton of cash down the road...

It's obvious that he enjoys the HT Predators VERY much, we're not all the same. He can do whatever he wants with his money..

The main point of my original comment was that if he wasn't such a hoarder, he wouldn't have gotten into the unfortunate situation in the first place. You buying doubles of NECA figures doesn't compare at all. How can anyone justify spending over $500 on a Predator they already have, just to keep in the box forever? Are you filthy rich Raf? I don't see the problem with buying doubles of figures if you plan on keeping them. If I was rich I'd be buying every figure I could two, three or fours times; just because I could.

There is nothing wrong with owning multiple figures of high value regardless if he plans to flip them or not. Some ppl like to display one and keep one in the box. Not everything purchased has to be opened up and displayed. Its a hobby and everyone is entitled to their own wants. Besides its his money, why are you calling him a hoarder and getting upset? It sounds like you're getting upset because he can afford all the high end collectibles and you can't. I'm not trying to start a war here, but post after post, you just seem to be whining about Raf's collection which has NOTHING to do with you!

Oh come on man , I don't want to discuss my financial status here , regarding my house well I guess its a regular house so I don't know why you bringing that up lol .I think we are getting comfused and out of the topic .

By the way I tough flippin was something like this , buying something here for $300 -$400 and resell it for 4 times as much .

I'm convinced now that the issue here is simply that you have an opinion but you don't realize its only an opinion. Let me ask you this, how can anyone in their right mind justify spending $500 on a toy to begin with? I think the answer is simple - that people do what they want with their money. And is being "filthy" rich a problem? Maybe we should all stop making money so we can only afford buying Neca figures then. And if you can understand "hoarding" cheap things because you like it (i.e.: Neca figures that stay on the card), then the only difference with hoarding Hot Toys figures is the price. But its not new news that some people have more money than others...

You guys are blowing this out of porportion. It almost seems like you guys don't read all of the comments. Again, he can spend his money however he wants!!! I was pointing out the fact that he wouldn't have been in this predicament if he wasn't buying multiples. Someone else called them hoarders and I went of that. Raf, you don't have to be ashamed about being filthy rich. I didn't think anyone could be offended by being called that. And yes, I am jealous that you have two of all of them. Who wouldn't be?
