you guys believe that hot toys will remake some of the released figures??? like scar, chopper, etc???

i would say its impossible!!!

for anyone out there, what makes you believe hot toys will do it?

was there any interview i miss ???

It's inevitable at this point. There was an FAQ article in a magazine earlier this year (March or April, I believe) with a question asking HT if they would re-release their old figures, specifically the AVP's and older Preds/Aliens. The company responded by saying if they were to do such a thing, they would not simply re-release the products, but instead marry their new techniques with the old designs. An upgrade, for lack of a better term. They then finished by saying they were still in the planning/researching stage and that we may see something in 2012.

We believe what we're seeing now with the Classic and Shadow Predator is the first step.

It was in Milk magazine. The president of HT pretty much confirmed they intend to use the new and improved body to remake the older figures and improve them as best as they can. He said Guardian Predator will be the last one to use the old body and so far he is correct.

All of a sudden I love HT again. I wonder if NECA's 1/4 P1 drove them over the edge :lol. Whatever the cause, we're all grateful.

i tend to disagree. for shadow preadtor and classic, THEY ARE NEW CHARACTERS that hot toys never make before. you see what i mean?

classic showed up in the NEW predators movie and thats why he is made. shadow shows up in predator 2 and he has not been released before.

I just cant see hot toys REMAKE SCAR , ETC Predator.

i am sorry, not challenging you. i just state my point of view.

they might redo predator 2 but honestly i don't see them redoing for example lost or guardian predator , but an elder predator 2 dx version would be freakin nice :rock

Assembled this today, Really hard to put on some parts, Frankly I'm surprised that I didn't break anything on him. Wonder if it's worth doing a poll of the hardest to assemble preds and what breakages if any ?
Anyway "The Wolf" (non clearner although I have him to do maybe next:wink1:)

They will remake them. Wait and see.

the hardest to assamble for me was p2

i dont think HT will pull a medicom anytime soon. it would be either the joker route(i.e. joker, bank robber, dx) for a certain figure.
which is pretty much less likely to be happening for the older preds, like Scar had his exclusive versions already.

It's not about what we fans think really. It's about what the company said. And they said in an interview (Milk magazine) around the time they sneaked Guardian Predator that sometime in the future they will remake the older figures using a new developed body, which we are seeing already in Shadow and Classic today.

However, when are they going to start remaking those older figures? Nobody knows.

i doubt they will becuase if they do they wouldnt call them collectable items , they just should of call them toys

The old ones will still be collectible because they'll be different. The remakes would sport new bodies and updated sculpts, so it's not exactly re-releasing.

i thought they said new bodies for the future release preds after guardian pred. they never mentioned re-making released preds but most likely back tracking un-released preds(P2).:dunno
