Totally agree with GatackFC. Preds can be as diverse at humans or any other species. No one's gonna tell a black person that he should look Chinese or Hispanic. One comes from a different culture and the other from another. I like the idea that there are all kinds of different tribes and physiques and armors and looks to Preds. If they all looked the same, it would be rather boring.

I agree as well, some people just feel everything should be like Predator 1.

Well, you might hate on them because of the designs, or something like that. Me, for instance, I can't stand the Wolf Predator. But he makes a cool figure and if other people dig him, it's fine.

That's exactly when I said when I got started on the AVP Preds. I said just Scar. Main guy. Gotta have him. Then got a great deal for Celtic. Sure why not. Then got a deal for Chopper. Cool got my main 3. Then Elder from a boardie here. Then Ancient from a boardie here. Then saw a decent deal for Asia and looked at my AVP collection and thought, "I have all the others, I should get this too." Now I have them all (minus Ani-Com Scar) and I don't regret it a bit. HT Preds FTW!

The Ancients always were a bit too pricey for me. Even loose. Plus I'd like to limit the amount of figures from each film to three or four. I use bookshelves to display my stuff, and I like to have a row for every movie . P2 gets one, Predators will get one, my Aliens get one, and AVP will get one.

It's too late for me now buddy. Well I got Detolfs. I can fit about 3 Preds on each shelf comfortably. So The 2 Ancients and the Elder share a shelf. Though it's sad that the Ancients are relegated to body guard duty behind Elder, at least they're staying away from any light.

I am able to fit Elder 2, Lost, Guardian AND Regular P2 into one shelf though. and it looks ok.

Not bad at all. And yeah, don't let those P2 characters occupy more than one shelf. Doesn't look nearly as good, having that great color contrast apart.

When it comes to Celtic Predator's name, do you guys pronounce it as:

a) Sell-Tik
or
b) Kel-Tik

I'm more of a Kel-Tik guy but I'm sure a lot of basketball fans are used to pronouncing the word Sell-Tik.

I always say kel-tik. But i have heard a lot of people say sell-tik. Each to their own i guess. Good question though.

Kel-tik for me as well.

At first I thought it was pronounced sell-tik then got corrected on it. Now it fits w/ kel-tik, but I'm not pronouncing the Boston Celtics, Ke-tiks that's still Sell-tik. I guess it goes the same way as the different ways of saying Live.

It's Kel-Tic. Pretty sure that's the proper pronounciation when you're referring to the culture as well.

On another note, I'll be taking some pics this Thursday or Friday as I've got a second AVP Pred coming my way... the Elder.
