It's Kel-Tic. Pretty sure that's the proper pronounciation when you're referring to the culture as well.

On another note, I'll be taking some pics this Thursday or Friday as I've got a second AVP Pred coming my way... the Elder. :bounce

Sweet. Oh I got the Elder/Scar repaint head from Seb. I'm currently trying to track down another AVP Pred body with armor to put him on. I'll just buy any of them since all I really need is the body, netting and leg armor. I seem to have spares of the other stuff.

How many spare parts and which ones do you have? I might be interested in a few, depending on what they are...

enjoy!!!

Oh... :(

Any helmet wires? Fisted hands? That's all I need :). And maybe some Elder quills... but a "maybe" on those.

I wish. The one on my Celtic is busted. Need to track down some more. No spares on the hands. Elder quills? :lol Dream on. Those are tough to get.

So... when you say spares you're referring to gauntlets and torso armor, basically. Well, worth a shot.

if you guys were hardcore you would've bought real porcupine quills like joe dunway did. I think he also used his dead iguana's bones to make a trophy necklace for one of his kits.

Hmm.. Now i know what to do with my dog when he dies..

I got my HT AVP Elder today and I'll take pics tomorrow. I spent the last half an hour making holes using a small needle hooked to a saudering iron (so it essentially melts the plastic to a degree into making a hole). Everything went well, except on the far right of his lower jaw (I wanted to give him the three-quill soul patch), the angle wasn't right and I went through the plastic out to the other side of the jaw. It's not noticeable as the mandibles press the plastic down, and once the quills are on, he'll look awesome. But yeah... that's what I've been up to. Like I said, pictures tomorrow!

Good job on the quills Blade. I would never have the patience to do it. Got my elder with the quills installed. Saved me the trouble. :D

Thanks guys! lol, mine came fully-assembled and loose. But the head only had like 10-15 quills since the previous owner bought it from someone else. While it was on its way to him, most of the quills came off. I had to re-insert them and add more (seller included new ones as well as the old ones), so the 10 became 40-something.

@ebor: I really didn't have a choice. Like I said, the quills that were originally attached came off, leaving some noticeable holes and bumps. Had to do the whole thing to cover up the remains of the old quills. I was shatting bricks, since I used a saudering iron. The P!tu candle method didn't seem to work without getting black crap on the plastic -- as well as melting it. Kudos to those who could pull it off, guess different methods work for different people. Granted, the iron would melt the plastic too, so I needed to work fast with each hole.

Well, I've got the new movie's Preds coming my way now. I'll wait until next year to get Scar and Chopper. Luckily, the worst is behind me, since those guys are quill-less :). Phew...
