Ok, well I do "like" the figure. It's a great custom done by Seb, but like I said and am going to continue to say I couldn't appriciate it as much as Fosing obviously does

Alright, need some help with an AVP figure.

I just received delivery of an AVP Celtic Predator from the US and I'm abit concerned. Firstly the packaing isn't glossy and has mis-prints on it.

Has CELTIC Predator MMS09 printed all over it which is the incorrect serial number. The correct one is MMS08. MSS09 belongs to SCAR???

Anyone come across this before? The figure looks alright except the neck piece is attached to the head, is this normal?

Yeah Ebay, asking for a refund, 'cause not sure what's going on. Box isn't of the normal shinny type so it's just matte, and slightly smaller then the traditional AVP boxes. Also not of the same build quality, at first I though it was maybe an early hot toys box, but now thinking it's dodgy.

The 1st pic is of the side of the box, the second is of the sleeve inside, at least if they're going to fake it get the numbers right........

That's fake beyond fake. HTs never made boxes like that for the AVP preds. Got a pic of the figure? I'm super curious to see how the figure looks like. How much did you pay? And is that the pic of the item they posted on the sale?

If that's a fake, it's a pretty good looking fake. That's pretty scary if it is. The only thing they can't duplicate is the box then?

holy shatner!! i cant believe they can fake this part by part...i think the seller bashed it peice by piece/part by part, i hope. and yes, the pegs are suppose to be black(refer to hand pegs). dayum.

The paint on the head even seems redone, and obviously the hand pegs are supposed to be black. The armour also looks like it's too chrome

It's obviously NOT original.

This is actually kind of interesting... I mean, bootlegging an entire AVP figure? Can you please post some closer pics of the armor out of the packaging? Specifically the bio helmet? Dunno if the pegs were bootlegs or if they were just taken off a different figure, but a better look at the head, helmet, and body would help us figure out whether or not it's recasted. Not too easy to judge if it's still covered by a plastic tray.

That's still a pretty good bootleg. Not worth $900, but I wouldn't mind owning one.

gosh, those inflated prices must have drove bootleggers and counterfeiters to milk the AVP "HTFs"...and they're charging inflated prices too. what a cheat...this is getting scary.

DEfenetly the large blades are not chrome so they fake , still a very good one
