Just realised its sdcc and I thought, I wonder if hot toys have anything new there, oh! Looks like more money spending :)

Wonder if the car from part 3 will be made. I would love a set of train tracks for it to sit on.

rewatching the video and the close up of the wheel it seems like it should pivot. But the part the wheel attaches to would have slide into the car or the tire would be sticking outside of the car.

If you load up the dvd, and watch the part at the beginning of PT2, you will see the wheels pop out from the car before pivoting down. It's also seen at the flying transition between the flying model and the real car when they are dropping Jennifer off at her house. The wheels fold up(But outside the wheel arches, then get pulled in.
The ultimate version for me, would be if HT make that a feature like the old aoshima models. Press a button and they pop out... But if the wheels will all have separate lights on them, it's unlikely the rest of the stuff will be motorised. Fingers crossed.

I think having motorised wheels is asking a bit much. Plus I wouldnt want that either. They light up which is great although where the batteries are could be a pain. Maybe the wheels should stay in hover mode and have the power supply coming from elsewhere. At least we could have a screen accurate wheel posistion. Although one thing I have just noticed is that the have updated the wheel pivots.

As for the "will the wheels fold" argument, ill post the picture one last time. At present yes they do.

I'm really glad that I waited now. I think I'm going to try and get the new DeLorean (provided it is actually made). Looks very cool in flight mode with the lights and all. Maybe they'll even improve a bit on some aspects of the first version. No matter what though the new Marty and Doc figures will be mine.

Basically. Really the main difference when not in flight mode is the Mr. Fusion. Even then technically that's on the DeLorean at the end of the first film.

One of the photos from HT of their BTTF2 had landing lights across the bottom of the car. This was from a while ago. I can't tell from these new photos if that is still going to be an included feature.

I wonder if the mr. Fusion is removable?
Forgot about the license plates difference too!
