The sculpt isn't the same but it's still off and looks bigger. Still cool that they are revisiting this given how crazy the prices are. Seriously though give us Doc Part 1!!!

Also am I the only one seeing a hint of Tom Holland in this? Looks super round.

I almost like the old one better. I'm not buying the new one for the plastic dog. Need more photos I guess.

Looks a lot rounder. But as always need to wait on more photos and video from the event hopefully.

With a bit of luck they'll have him standing with the DeLorean to gauge interest in the car as well.

I have the original Marty and the new HS is not amazing. Unless they change it. They have e tendency to do that. I am on a budget, so don't know if I can afford this. Not impressed by the dog OR the new HS. If they had given us a different costume ... I hope they rerelease the Delorean. I missed out the first time. There is one for sale close by, it is 1900 USD, but I can pick it up (save shipping). I'll wait a while and see if they don't rerelease.

Yeah if there's one license where proto to production has changed, its BTTF. To me both the BTTF1 and BTTF2 Marty headsculpts deteriorated from proto to production, maybe this one will go in reverse (away from Tom Holland I mean.) The BTTF2 Doc was ambitious but weird.

So hard to judge this one until later - the apps should be that little bit better but yeah, you'd think if they were going to do a new Marty then they'd go with something a little different versus 99% the look of the old BTTF1 head with slightly different hair placement.

I'm still super happy to see this as I missed out first time and I really, really hope the Einstein means Doc mall parking lot is coming. That surely is a hint. And the Delorean.... re-release arriving in a flash from 2015.

Yep could be the parking lot scene. I'd be happy with that look. Marty certainly has video camera and Einstein. Doc with remote control would be a cool accessory.

I am pleasantly surprised and this is a definite buy for me as I’ve been trying to find a deal on the old figure for years now. I even slightly prefer the newer sculpt over the old, and just having more modern paint apps I think will make it the superior sculpt anyway. I did hear on Facebook from someone with typically reliable inside knowledge that there will be more stuff coming, whether just figures or a new delorean as well though who knows. We shall see. The fact that Marty comes with Einstein, however, worries me about getting a BTTF 1 Doc since you would think he would be the obvious choice to include it with. Unless of course Hot Toys is going to turn him into the next Grogu and throw one in with every figure from the line lol.

Btw, I just feel sad and sorry for people who aren’t into an almost perfect, cultural landmark movie like BTTF. Just the Alan Silverstri soundtrack alone is easily a top 10 all-time movie score. In fact, I highly recommend the podcast “The Soundtrack Show” for any music lovers out there, he did a great episode analyzing why the BTTF score is so incredible from a music theory perspective.

Passed on the original Delorean pre-order because back to 2014, few month ago, I bought the 89 Batmobile and couldn’t justify a second 1/6 vehicle but finger crossed they re-issue it.
One one the most iconic movie vehicle ever!

On a side note, Lego recently released a campervan, very similar to the one the Libyans used. There has been talk of a BTTF DeLorean Creator model, but nothing yet.

Side by side I can see more of the difference between the sculpts. The new one does look better, but I don’t think the old one is so awful. I’ll see about upgrading. All depends on the price, and if there’s a tease for Doc in the product pictures.

Re release of marty w einstein bttf 1. They wouldn't include the pup if they weren't going to announce a new doc.

Also rerelease/announcement of delorean w hover wheels.
