Damn HT though - so many incredible grail licenses over such a short period of time. Cool - but wallet-killing.

Finally an HT line I will buy all of but I will wait for confirmation from them via their channels before getting really excited.

Howard confirms they got it ?! :panic:

Q: Do you have any plans on making "Back to the Future" figures?

A. Exclusive news for OSR: Yes, we have acquired the license of the Back to the Future and also got the approval of Michael J. Fox. We will also make the DeLorean vehicle. More announcements will be coming soon.

:thud:

Damn, this might be difficult to pass on. Would need to get both, too. Can't not have the DeLorean.
Regardless, it'll be beautiful to see.

Damn, just saw the news. This will probably be my farewell piece from Hot Toys. I have pose planned and everything... Marty exiting the Delorean with hooverboard in hand.

Regarding the Delorean, I wonder if they will produce more than one or if they will make only one model where you have the options to make the changes.

Damn! And so much Batman stuff, too. As long as we don't see the Delorean this year, I'm good. That being said, these were some of my favorite movies(still are), and it'll be hard to pass on, especially if I know that portions are going to the Fox Foundation(one of the things I liked about superman: I got to blow $200 bucks on a figure, and feel good about myself for doing it).lol

Be interesting to see how HT's sculpt stacks up against Trevor's.
Yeah, I'm curious to see this, as well. If they do the googly DX head, then I fear it's just not gonna be able to stack up even if Yulli does the sculpt. I'm also curious to see how the clothing and tailoring of it compares to Rainman's work, which is just phenomenal.

What a way to piss off The people Who bought Rainmans. LOLZ

Instant Buy!!!!!!!

not really... a lot of us bought the rainman one knowing HT would be doing one. it's allllllllllllllllllllllll good.

looking forward to seeing this. especially that DELOREAN!!!
Yep, I suspected that earlier announcement could be legit, but I will ultimately have two extremely high quality Marty figures (assuming HT goes through with this, and assuming the HT product is good). I doubt I would ever feel regret about owning a Rainman/Trevor Grove figure, even if HT comes in after the fact and pumps out their version. Plus, this ain't some second rate character like Iron Man or Joker. It's Marty McFly! You can't have too much.

The Delorean is as much BTTF as any of the human characters. You'd have to get it. Thats why I will probably have to avoid this line altogether.
I sold my Tumbler and will pass on any other 1/6 scale Bat-Vehicles, but a 1/6 scale Delorean is a must buy for me.

I hope this is real. Doc and Marty are on my wishlist, and there are SO many possibilities for figures too.

This is heavy . . . Like most I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for a DX, considering they at least have outfits from 1955, 1985, and 2015. And the accessories are a must. Also a make or break for both Marty and Doc. I am a huge fan of the franchise, and a collector as well. Please HTs, please do not ______ this up. I am honestly only concerned about the hs on this one, particularly Marty. I can also justify paying an arm and a leg for a Delorean.

I foresee many posts of excitement, wishlists, begging for pics, begging for teasers, people asking if Hot Toys has dropped the license, finally releasing pics, astonishment, sticker shock, and a lot of "F U Hot Toys, I'm not paying $400 Marty McFly".

Very happy this morning.

For me, this will take priority over everything. Even Star Wars and Hulk.. heck even Doctor Who. :woo

It definately will not be $400 but as pointed out, it will be in league with Nicolson and Reeves prices around $270 most likely.

However I am more then willing to pay that price knowing that it all isn't going into HT's pocket, but a deserving charity. A bit differant then Nicolson's figure which is expensive because hes "a big deal."

Best licence announcement in years.

Very exciting. Can't wait. The one vehicle I would buy is the delorean.
