I love part 3. I just don't want any figures from it.

HT can get is BTTF Marty and Doc with the Delorean. After than I don't care what they do as it will just be the icing on the cake after that.

We'll get Marty and Doc...beyond that...don't count on it......most unlikely!

I think I would get the DeLorean before I'd get Marty or Doc.

That car was my favorite character in the trilogy when I was a kid. Now that I am an adult, I appreciate the actual human actors. :lol

How extraordinary. I don't recall anyone saying anything contrary. :dunno

Not directly, but a number of people seem to have zero interest in a 1/6 Biff, which surprises me. I guess I'm projecting my own views on character/figure importance (see below).

Yea Biff is important, no one is doubting that, so is Lorraine, so are the Lybian terrorists, without them their would be no plutonium, no time travel. But just because they are a central character doesn't mean they will make a good figure that will sell for $250 in the thousands of units it takes to get them made.

If you think Biff would be a successful figure in any costume your kidding yourself. I'm honestly not sure if we'll even get so lucky as to get a Doc with how backlogged HT is. They may do Marty and the Delorean and by then have another hot new license they can't wait to move onto.

Lorraine and the Lybians are important to the plot and it's progression, but that's not what I'm talking about. I place Thomas Wilson's portrayal of Biff up there with MJF and Christopher Lloyd's performances in the film. In my opinion, his performance was as integral to the success (and my enjoyment) of the film(s) as MJF and Lloyd's. That's why I want a figure of him, but you're right, with HT's MO...doubtful he'll see the light of day.

Bummed that so many people aren't fans of Part III. I'll admit that when I was a kid, the whole western thing didn't appeal to me as much, but as time has passed I've become as much a fan of Part III as the other 2 films. We need western Marty and Doc to complete the set IMO. I would get incarnations of the 2 time travelers from all 3 films personally...

I actually thought Part III was more enjoyable than Part II. The storyline for Part II got a bit convoluted trying to tie up the various timelines. The darker tone also made it less fun than I and III. I do admit that II has one of my favorite lines from Marty..."Shark still looks fake..."!

I was the same way, I've come to enjoy part III a lot more in recent years :exactly: Although it does contain the only part in the entire trilogy that genuinely irks me; the hover-converted time-train :lol

I like the sound 'a that!

IMO opinion Biff would look dopie on a shelf with Doc and Marty. I can't really articulate why. He would just look out of place.

Per BTTF 3, I love it. Always have.

It still feels unreal that Hot Toys are making figures from Back to the Future. They keep ticking off certain Grails lately. I still hope they have Blade Runner, my ultimate Grail now that they have confirmed they're making Bruce Willis too.

I know Hot Toys said they are making BTTF figures, but I don't think I'll actually believe it until I see the official pics.

I'm going by that article that mentioned Anakin, Solo, BTTF and Blade Runner. All but the latter have been confirmed.

:exactly:

Take every announcement as if it never happened and don't expect them until they go up for order :lecture

This will obviously be another two figures and abandoned license, it's a shame as i'd take a version of Marty & Doc from each film and the Delorean

Most wanted would be BTTF II Future Marty

But there are people like me who will commission a Lorraine headsculpt and even help supply an outfit. I think my first 2013 project just got decided. :)
