Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

I'd welcome a DX Jack Joker personally. Hit all my birds with one stone so to speak, the PERS would be great for those kooky expressions Jack pulled in the film. Still, I realize it's not always been great with certain figures..

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

Isn't DX part of MMS? I thought the full product codes are "MMS DX-N," where N is the number in the line of DX's.

Got to see Batman 1989 in a full-size theater this weekend. I've seen it dozens of times on DVDs, VHS, TV, etc. But never on a full-screen theater.

It's remarkable how much detail is lost on the smaller screen - for instance, the matte painting of Gotham City in the opening shot is really detailed and expansive, granting the city a much larger sense of size and scale than I thought it had. It really surprised me, and made the viewing experience much more fresh.

Of course, that also meant the Joker's neck makeup error in his scene with Grissom was extremely prominent. I usually don't notice it, but it was pretty glaring on the big screen.

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

Nice - was it a private screening?

And I never noticed the neck makeup error, will have to go back and check now lol

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

I hope they have the pers eyes.
To me..They're one of the coolest things hot toys does.
I want my first(and probably only) hot toys figures to have them!
Wouldn't mind if they don't.
Getting these no matter what :D

It's when he's talking and he takes his hat off.
" And as you can see, I'm a lot happier"

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

It'd be nice, but I'm calling Battle Damaged T-800 from T2.

My thoughts as well with all the hints.

But we haven't heard anything about a BD T-800, and we did very recently hear that Nicholson was coming very soon, so thats what I'm riding on.

Get out of the DC section more. :lol

Pretty clear it can't be Joker unfortunately

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

It is getting a little much to bare. :lol

Seriously, the longer they take, the better these figures will be I'm hoping.

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

True, but they might change that, like they did to superman. They announced him as a dx, but then changed it to an mms. Maybe they will change the joker to a dx:dunno

Good point. The truth is that you never know with HT. We'll see :wink1: although I wouldn't hold my breath

Last year everyone was like " its going to be a christopher reeve super man!" " Its going to be a dx battle damged 800!"

In the end it was bruce lee:lol

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

I hope it's the Joker. The guy that was talking about it on a blog said it was crazy detailed so maybe it was a DX. I'll be happy if it's either from 89 batman or the BD T-800.

its been confirmed now thats the DX07 is Bespin Luke Skywalker

Re: HT Batman 1989 Coming

I'm rather glad it isn't any DX Batman figures.

These could just be simple MMS figures, they don't need the DX treatment. Batman especially.
