I can guarantee you this is a PERS figure for one simple reason - they would NEVER paint his eyes looking to the side. Fans would tear down the house if they did. That alone is proof that he will have moving eyes, and that makes this figure simply awesome. I need this. Now make Bats equally as impressive please?

The wing hat is very small, looks like a hat of the queen of England.

Bank Robber Joker had his eyes painted looking sideways. They could have done the same here I'm just glad that its PERS - certainly on this prototype it looks well executed. The mechanism remains to be seen.

Y'know, that's an excellent point! I've read some terrible rants about sculpts I thought looked spot-on (or extremely close to), and in some cases the kvetching was justified - the ongoing foibles of Indiana Jones, anyone? But Nicholson Joker figure has silenced all detractors. HT has gotta know they hit a grand slam when that happens! And it seems to be happening with HT more and more. Makes me very excited for Keaton Bats!

Keaton Bats is going to be a sculpting challenge IMO. Keaton has such interesting facial features. He's not the run of the mill design, especially around the mouth. And, people tend to get that wrong/over emphasize the uniqueness of his. Poofy lips etc. Like he's got botox.

If HT pulls off the Keaton face, they'll have really accomplished something.

For me, it's either PERS or don't pose the eyes out of the normal forward style, it looks nice but limits your posing too much and the beauty of figures is posability, if I wanted the manufacturer to choose the pose for me I'd get a statue.

Yeah that would be the best option...but The BD face in the last scene...with the fake blood is a likely option.

I dont see them do another one of this costume, but they might do a jack from the art museum, or the mime jack.

Mime Jack is my least favorite look, but I can see HT doing it...I would buy it also.

I was hoping for something else than Joker,like Shining and Cuckoo's Nest.They finally managed to get Nicholson's likeness rights,but not sure if that covers more than just Joker.

that was before the DX, right? (correct me if I am wrong please). if so, then it makes sense that now that they have the technology for PERS, there is no reason to make them painted looking ot the side. Trust me, there will be many disappointed fans.

they can use the same head but paint it flesh colored for the fae flesh colored make-up version - or even the wiping-off version haha

The if they make an exclusive in the future, it will probably be the mime outfit, because not alot of people prefer the look, so they will make a "limited" run.

They are great, but I wouldn't agree that everything looks perfect. I think this does, and Sparrow. Supes is really cool but a little off and I think Luke is waaaaay off sculpt wise. And the Batmobile (at the moment) is all kinds of wrong. Just my opinion.

Those items you nitpicked are a lot closer to the source material than that overpriced all kinds of wrong EnterMediBay Luke figure you have.

I'm actually on the Fence with this guy. Not because of the likeness since it looks amazing, but more because I don't know how it would fit in with the rest of my collection.

I'll probably get it though with the Keaton Batman.

Have to pass on the Batmobile though. I already have the Tumbler and no more room to display the new one.
