They could have added the 1989 as a bonus costume to the new Arkham City

I was thinking the same thing!

That would of been very cool to see.

I really like the dark knight returns one.

YES!! I was just about to say that. Plus I love how they didnt leave the black make up around the eyes like we didnt notice :lol I guess it would look kinda funny seeing Wayne with raccoon eyes especially during such a serious scene. Im guessing thats why they left it off for that part.

Imagine seeing Batman leaning into a mirror applying that eye-make up. 'OK buh-bye Alfred, I'm off to beat up the bad guysssssehhh!'

Something similar almost happened in Batman Begins.

Batman Begins Script said:
INT. STUDY, WAYNE MANOR -- EVENING

Wayne emerges from the bookcase. The noise of a PARTY outside
the door. Alfred is there waiting, dinner jacket over his
arm. Wayne grabs the shirt- dressing hastily.

WAYNE
Rachel's sedated. You can take her
home.

ALFRED
Very good, sir.

WAYNE
Is Fox still here?
(Alfred nods)
Tell you staff to stop serving drinks
and move everybody on after the cake.

Alfred nods. Wayne moves to the door. Alfred STOPS him.
Hands him a towel, gesturing at his face: Wayne is still
wearing BLACK MAKEUP around his eyes.

I just read up on how you get those suits. Each one is specific to a preorder from a certain company. So, unless they release an upgrade you can purchase, you're not going to get every suit. That's crap.

They'll make them available to everyone eventually. That's what the Playstation and X-box stores are for. I'm sure there's codes as well. If they aren't available I'm sure people will sell the codes on ebay for a few bucks.

I wish that had made it into the film - I mean it's reasonably believable that he would have to apply black makeup around the eyes, much more believable than having the audience believe there's no makeup! Plus in TDK it actually creates yet another parallel with the joker, who also applies similar black makeup around his eyes

Yeah, they should have left it. I hate what they did instead.

We're supposed to believe that the eye holes are extremely small, and only reveal his eyes?

Can anyone spot the accesories? 2 mouths.. multiple hands.. double sided grappling hook that he shoots in the "im melting" restaurant scene.

Anyone else have a better eye?

Batman

- belt
- DX Base
- 6 Hands
- Steel Gauntlet (wrist Grapple shooter)
- Batmobile Communicator
- Batarang
- Batarang with rope
- Speargun (grapple gun)
- Hand gauntlet (similar to the mangler in TDK)

- Battle Damaged faceplate
- misc faceplate

Seems more comparable to eg. Iron Man Mk6 ? ...which wasn't a DX.
They've lifted their game a lot with DX's, Giant ship wheels, idol bases, etc...

The only thing common to all the DX releases - and not present in any other regular release - is PERS.
