i think HT has something up their sleeves with this DX that prevented them from showing it. i think that its going to come with a battle damaged chest piece to go with the mouth, why would they include a damaged mouth from the end scene with a totally clean fig. maybe the system that will allow you to change it wasnt ready or maybe the BD piece wasnt ready. this is my guess cause i cant see another HS being added in.

I'm guessing (and hoping) that the battle damaged emblem will be included too. Just makes sense with the bloodied mouth.

You could get away with not having a battle damaged cowl since the scarring was minimal on it. But the emblem was clearly scorched along with a bloodied face as he emerged from the Batwing wreckage.

Boy did he get ____ed up. I'm always amazed how much damage was inflicted to him in Batman compared to the other Batman films when I post or see the pics. Surely those wounds would have left scars on Wayne's face.

He was on fire, cut, he had shrapnel metal bits in his skin and suit and limping but still went up all those Cathedral steps.

Batman

- belt
- DX Base
- 6 Hands
- Steel Gauntlet (wrist Grapple shooter)
- Batmobile Communicator
- Batarang
- Batarang with rope
- Speargun (grapple gun)
- Hand gauntlet (similar to the mangler in TDK)

- Battle Damaged faceplate
- misc faceplate

How on gods green earth did you see all that? I mean I kinda see those things now that you've said something but not before. Ya know Im actually surprised that someone hasn't blew up the image and gone over it with a magnifying glass.

I actually did blow it up a few pages back. Didn't go over it with a magnifying glass though.

Oh speaking of accessories. I hope that belt is magnetic like the TDK DX, along with some of the weapons.

Why not just include a switch out cowl? seeing as how the emblem is attached to the cowl, they could just include a BD cowl with the scorched emblem.

The emblem plugs into the chest. I used to think it was part of the cowl too, but it's not. The scallops just make it seem that way.

I had the chest emblem idea as well, but I just thought it'd be simpler. I thought the cowl remained the same, but at any rate, I hope we get the full extent of the damage, and not just a bloody mouth.

I don't really see how it'd be logical though to have a Wayne sculpt. We never see him sans cowl but in full suit until Returns. I have no doubts in my mind that HT will do a Batman Returns line up with Catwoman and Penguin but until then I think the best we're getting is interchangeable magnetic faceplates.

Yeah, I don't think we'll see a Wayne head with this one unfortunately. Like Mike said, his face was never shown without the mask. It does come off in the alley with the Joker's thugs but it's purposely obscured from them in the dark.

The only way I could see it happening is if they made a Wayne by himself (either in a suit or in the iconic turtle neck and jeans) or included a head with a Batman Returns Batman figure.

Remember how easily he tore off his cowl in BR?? Figured it would be made of stronger material than that- with woven Kevlar in it or something...

YES!! I was just about to say that. Plus I love how they didnt leave the black make up around the eyes like we didnt notice :lol I guess it would look kinda funny seeing Wayne with raccoon eyes especially during such a serious scene. Im guessing thats why they left it off for that part.

I would like a Wayne headsculpt, not to go on Batman, it would be a nice bonus only. I'm not counting on it though.
