Me too. Only problem is that it's too close in color to the grey suit, so I will probably use it with the straightjacket display.

Glad it finally showed up.

and thanks for the comparison pics - I'd been curious.

I prefer the darker version myself, but I think both could benefit from some weathering/repainting. Lighten up the dark one and darken up the light one a bit. I used Tamiya's 'sand' weathering on mine to give it some light bits and I like the results.

And I'd go with the darker one with SJ version too.

Thanks for the comparison Maglor. The custom looks a bit thinner in your pics. Is that the case?

I think that may just be the lighting, it's pretty much a straight recast as far as I could tell. I was really happy with the "custom" head, and plan to buy more from the seller, they have some great stuff.

Glad to see that you finally got it Maglor. What are you planning on using for the noose? I still have some of the craft rope I bought for mine if you want me to send you some. Let me know.

Anyone know where I get a 1/6 scale lighter for Scarecrow?

Thanks in advance!

Ebay always has things like that, but if you want to get as close as you can to movie accuracy....DC Direct put out a figure for Rorschach from The Watchmen, and one of the accessories was a 1/6th scale lighter. You might want to take a look at that. =]

Toy Anxiety has them for $1.99 a piece. They have two currently in stock.

Also, since I just stumbled upon this myself here is a link to a seller on eBay who currectly has both the Demon Bats and Scarecrow parts avaialble for sale for decent prices. I just bought the straight jacket and an original Scarecrow head w/noose. Still cheaper than buying the full figure, lol.

Maybe the Two-Face, coin holding hand? :dunno

I think that would work. Too bad I only have one.

I'll check on this tomorrow when I swap heads.

I have the same rope. :)

Cool. I have an extra Two Face Coin hand if you're interested. My Rorshach lighter should be here in a few days, I'll let you know if it works or not. I would also think pending the resultsof the TF hand that an open gripping hand from either Chris Taylor or Seargent Barnes could work just as well.

Anyone know how close of a match are the BR Joker and Scarecrow suits (colorwise and generally)? Or are they the same? Any pics?
I'm doing an unrelated custom project and the knowledge of this would help. Thanks.

Very close.

In fact, if I knew what I know now about the TTL suit, I would have tried to find a BR Joker suit instead.

The TTL suit is not a good fit. The distance from the waist band to the crotch is way too long. :slap

I've been trying to futz it too look right, but it really needs altering to work. :(

On the other hand, the BR suit fits very nicely.

Ok. thanks.

Still, if anyone has pics of the two figures together, it would be nice to see the difference with my own eyes.

I'd do it, but my official Scarecrow is wearing the straightjacket. Not taking that thing off ever again! :panic: :lol
