I'm probably going to get the set if I can get it for like 350. I'll sell the straight jacket extra, as I never liked that look and depending on how Demon bats looks I might also try to use it for something. I really want to like it though.

Based on what I know most individual new Hot Toys figures sell for.

See, what bothers me about that analysis is that the numbers don't add up if you just base it on previous Hot Toys figures and their price on release.

$400 is $200 a figure. A Hot Toys new release tends to go for around $150, I think - and that includes multiple accessories and sometimes (don't know how often) another headsculpt.

Even a DX, which tends to be more expensive, retails for less than $200 (about $185, I think). And I don't think anyone would claim that either of these figures is the equivalent to a DX (which usually comes with more accessories, special options like PERS, multiple headsculpts, etc., all of which justify a higher price).

Going purely by value for money and the cost of previous Hot Toys new releases, $400 is a steep jack-up in price.

I agree. When did I say otherwise?

I just said that $200 per figure is the high end of what I would be willing to pay.

I agree that $400 is on the high end of what I'm willing to pay for the set.

$300 for the set I would be thrilled with.

Either "Demon" is part of the name as a proper noun, or it's an adjective (liked parted out is). Either way, it's "parted out Demon Bat's" or "parted out Demon Batman's."

NERD!

There is no possessive noun, just a straightforward pluralisation of Demon Batman.

So "parted out Demon Batmans" - ie no apostrophe - is correct.

Carry on.

Gah! You're right! I thought he was talking about "parted out Demon Batman's boots, belts, and gauntlets," so there would have been a possessive, but I misread it.

Been watching this twin pack on ebay, and somebody has just paid over 600 dollars for it. I guess he thought he was getting aa good deal. Lets hope that the buyer can get his hands on one before they sell out at the fair, or they guy is going to be...pissed.

Eh, he's gonna be pissed when it shows up on Ebay in greater numbers and he realizes he could've gotten the set for considerably less money.

All I can say is Guardian Predator. That had a print run of about "1000, BS" but I would have to say I saw atleast 1000 of them since july on ebay.

Price went from a high of $900 the first day to a low of $320 this month.
